At 42-years-old, Kwon Yool (Lee Beom Soo) is South Korea's youngest prime minister ever. On top of his reputation of being an honest man of the utmost integrity, he's also a widower who raises his three children alone. But what the public doesn't know is that despite his perfect image, Prime Minister Kwon is actually a struggling father devoid of even the most basic of parenting skills. Nam Da Jung (Yoona) is a journalist who resorts to writing trashy tabloids to support her ailing father, but when she chases Prime Minister Kwon for a lucrative exposé, she ends up scooping a whole lot more than she bargained for.

oop forgot to post this over the weekend. there was only one episode last week because of the new year's stuff. this week is (i think) 8 and 9 (8 just aired) so there will be another discussion post for those episodes this weekend.

wow i wish i was this pretty while eating.

i was laughing my ass off at the beginning of the episode, i was actually tearing, and then gradually getting more pissed at kwon yool and woo ri. i get it, you both don't really like da jung but can you at least treat her with some respect??? woo ri especially, like dude, she's still older than you and is technically in that mother position. treat her with some damn respect, boy.

The Prime Minister and I continues to be cute... but I'm wary of it becoming slightly makjang-ish in the later episodes. Idk... just some nagging feeling. But it'd be great if I'm proven wrong and the writer keeps the story light and warmhearted.

Lol no I totally get what you mean though. I only watch dramas when the girls are in it. Dramas move too slow imo which is why I'm a fanfic person cuz I can just skip/skim boring parts. I find that that's harder to do so in dramas.

I find some parts funny, but then that kind of goes away. I'm also still trying to figure out how Kang In ho will tie in because it seems like there's just random moments between him and Da Jung & It's obvious that she's not interested in him... Usually I get the second lead syndrome, but he seems kind of extra here? & random but this is also the first drama I ever fell asleep on and it was this episode lol.

it's clear that he's working with the uncle against the prime minister and i'm 100% that it's because at some point in his political career, the pm made some decision, perhaps personal, that screwed over In Ho's brother. i think In Ho wanting to screw over the pm has everything to do with getting revenge for his brother.

Yeah that, but I mean his feelings for Da Jung as the second lead. Their scenes together are a bit painful to watch, but maybe that'll develop more in future episodes.

ep 7 just made me want to watch ep 8. it's like this week there was no Prime minister and I. but ep 8 is always the moment when things change between the characters so i have hopes ^^

OP, I totally agree with you on the kids. I get they are a little bratty and don't see NDJ as a mother but they have absolutely no respect. She is seriously so nice to them and she gets nothing for it. Man Se is seriously the cutest thing ever, every time they have a scene together I am literally squealing <3

That being said, I really like this drama. It is actuality the first kdrama (beside The Third Hospital) that didn't lose me in the first 3/4 episodes and I like it a lot. The PM and NDJ have a really good chemistry and I love the pulling and pushing thing going on between them.

I seriously do not want to spoil episode 8, so I will wait for that episode to voice my thoughts on it ^^
