Some of my favorite highlights from these episodes:
- Episode 1's hilariously mean wake up ritual involving a squirt bottle, coffee, fish sauce, and salt water~
- Joonyoung saying sometimes he imagines himself building tunnels when he drives through them
- Defconn getting his beloved beard and mustache shaved off
- Joonyoung specifically requesting his background music be Slash's "November Rain" guitar solo for his punishment
- Suzy being completely non-plussed by Joonyoung's sudden serenade (see below)

Judging from the first three episodes I feel like Season 3 has a lot of potential. I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised, but I give most of the credit to the new main PD since he's been around since Season 1 days, and knows what's up. The new cast is pretty funny together Joonyoung is super 4D and Defconn is just a fun guy. They have some bonding to do, but they're only a few filmings in. Ratings have really improved, and hopefully they stay steady at the #1 spot!

I started watching it mainly to see Joonyoung. But i'm enjoying it more than S2.
Though the random Suzy appearance was kind of unnecessary.

i love season 1 and 2,despite the latter got low viewership. and i was about to drop 2d1n but when i heard cha tae hyun stays and joon jung young joins season 3 i couldnt cause i love them so much haha

glad i didnt stop following 2d1n ♥ and kim ju hyuk is one funny guy XD

I like Season 2 too. Particularly since I enjoy watching Joo Won + Sung Si Kyung + Cha Taehyun + Jongmin. Plus, I happen to really like Sugeun a lot. I guess its a matter of personal interest.

It's pretty good considering that the new members are together for very short period of time. Among the new members I like Defconn the most.

My favorite part.
1. Wake up ritual, Taehyun and Jongmin being cruel for new members.
2. Everyone ignoring Suzy. :D I hope there will be no more waking up guests. I like when everyone rush to do morning mission.

3. Everyone want to be on Taehyun team :D :D :D
4. Defconn mustache shaved off (and probably every moment with Wonpal team )
5. Restaurant mission and Ryu Geunji

It's better than 2nd season.

I didn't think season 2 was as bad and boring people like to make it seem to be.
This new season is much better, though. Defconn is really funny and Joonyoung is so weird I love him. haha
And Juhyeok's bitterness when people don't recognize him xD

Yeah, Idk why people made it seem like the first year of Season 2 didn't exist at all. Bird PD, Seungwoo and the members were hilarious, fun and they had lots of chemistry too.

IKR! Their brotherly love is just precious. The first half of Season 2 was endearing but the second half was botched up by the PD.

haven't even started watching season 3 yet. i'm still upset about taewoong leaving (i really love him ok). but since everyone is saying it's better than s2, i guess i should start watching it today. i think it is on tv as i type this actually.

I watched ep 3 yesterday and it was quite fun...
I didn't watch ep 1&2 but from their conversation, Wonpal been around since then??? It is hilarious.
Joonyoung is funny esp. during lunch mission where he started feeding the girls. And Geunji water ad-lib.

i didn't watch the previous season (only bits and pieces that people said funny) so idk what to feel about this new formation. i'm mainly watching this for joonyoung but i actually find defconn hillarious. that part when he successfully jumped that ice pool when he everyone else already gave up on him :D

OMG I've been waiting for a discussion post because Season 3 is hitting all the right spots and there's a bit of classic 1N2D. I love S2 too but Hamster PD ruined my interest.

Somehow, all the new members stood out except for Kim Junho. Kim Joohyuk was just hilarious and not awkward at all. When he yelled at Defconn to stop introducing him to the kids, I love the season already. And I can't remember the last time I feel excited watching a race on 1N2D until the Before Sunset Race. Racing against the winter sunset? Genius. Kudos to the music and editing too.

One of my favourite highlights: when they have to earn 500,000 won at the gas station and Joonyoung hit the motherload with the big truck.

1N2D makes me really happy, and I'm so glad to see the show gaining attention and fans again. Every episode just keeps getting better! I'm loving Kim Joohyuk and Defconn~ I love how Defconn treats Joohyuk, he teases him all the time but he always put in a good word for the mat-hyung, laughs at his words and jokes with him. It's pretty obvious that Def is trying to help Joohyuk to become more comfortable on the show. I love this pair already!

LOL at Joohyuk not recognising Suzy! Initially I thought he was just tired and confused but he's really clueless about idols (he doesn't know who Hyuna is). I find it quite endearing though. He guested on Happy Together a few years ago and he talked about how he stays at home and watches TV all day long when he's not working.

The new cast is so funny I was crying from laughing at some points. I love Joonyoung that kid has personality. When he asked what was low tide and high tide and if the 10cm meant they could walk to the island at that time, I was clutching my sides with laughter.

I've been a fan of 1n2d since 2007 and it completely broke my heart to see how it "deteriorated". I liked season 2 but at times it felt lacking. Really happy that the show is gaining momentum once again.

Saw S3's pilot episode with no expectations and boy it did surprise me. I had doubts as to how Taehyun and Jongmin will takeover, them being not the main MC of the previous seasons. So far, they're doing fine and luckily the new "recruits" are armed with wacky personalities. and yes!!! skinny PD Yu from season 1 is back. LMAO he's harsher and fiercer now!

Joonyoung is so fun to watch! He would've totally been a part of the "Seop Seop Dang/Helpless brothers" with Seunggi, Jiwon and MC Mong.

The challenges in the Before Sunset Race (ep3) cracked me up bigtime. My favorite has got to be Defconn's trip to the barber! I won't spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen it but damn I was laughing so hard like Taehyun did.

Hopefully the episodes will get better in time! I miss this show a lot.
