Jun Ji Hyun Stuns in a School Uniform in High School Photos


Top actress Jun Ji Hyun‘s high school photos prove that her beauty has not changed over time.

On December 30, SBS’ “Good Morning” visited Jinseon Girls’ High School that the star used to attend, and the producer had a short interview with teacher Jo Nam Il. Having carefully followed Jun Ji Hyun’s high school years in the past, he shared what the actress was like as a student.

“Even though everyone was wearing a school uniform, she was the only one that caught my eye. It felt like she was shining. Also, there were piles of fan letters and other mail sent to Jun Ji Hyun in the teachers’ room. Male students waited for her in front of the main gate,” sharing that the star stood out even back in high school.

Photos taken at the time were revealed during the show, and while the actress looked more innocent and youthful back then, her well-defined facial features have not changed a bit.






Jun Ji Hyun Gifts Staff with Food Truck



Actress Jun Ji Hyun gave a huge food truck to the staff of "You Who Came From the Stars".

Recently, Jun Ji Hyun gave a huge gift to the staff of SBS Wednesday/Thursday drama special "You Who Came From the Stars" who were busy with a tight filming schedule and staff members that were skipping meals as she gave them the gift of food.

In addition, she also gave them cosmetics as gifts for the staff members who were suffering from filming outdoors.
At this, a staff member of "You Who Came From the Stars" said "Thanks to Jun Ji Hyun, the environment was so warm. The remaining filming was tough but I think I'll be able to film in happiness.

At Jun Ji Hyun's food truck, netizens said, "Jun Ji Hyun gave a food truck" "Jun Ji Hyun's food truck is a great gift" "Jun Ji Hyun's great gift, the staff will be reenergized" "Jun Ji Hyun's food truck, I want some too" and showed responses.



‘You Who Came From The Stars’ Records Highest National Viewing Rate



'You Who Came From The Stars' is recording its highest national viewing rate at every episode. According to Nielsen Korea, a national viewing rate survey company, the fifth episode of SBS Wednesday Thursday drama "You Who Came From The Stars" which aired on January 1, recorded 22.3% of the national viewing rate. This is a 2.2% increase from the previous fourth episode, 20.1%.

"You Who Came From The Stars" rose as the drama with the highest national viewing rate from its first episode. Since its first episode, the drama's national viewing rate rose from 18.3% to 19.4%, and went over 20% in the fourth episode, recording 20.1%.

On the fifth episode of "You Who Came From The Stars" Do Min Joon's love for Chun Song Yi deepened as he took care of her, who was suffering from a bad rumor regarding the suicide of her rival actress, Han Yoo Ra.

In related news, KBS Wednesday Thursday drama "Miss Korea" and KBS 2TV drama "Pretty Boy," both of which air at the same time with the drama "You Who Came From The Stars," recorded 9.5% and 4.4% of national viewing rate respectively.

Jeon Ji Hyun as Cheon Song Yi
Chun Song Yi is a famous actress who is notorious for her stunning looks and stupidly silly social media updates. She’s at the top of her game and is currently filming a new drama. While stubborn and opinionated, Song Yi is also troubled by the loneliness and isolation that comes with being a top star. When the media gets wind that she hasn’t been attending her graduate school classes, she is forced by her agency to attend on a regular basis. As fate would have it, her professor turns out to be none other than Min Joon, the same Min Joon who also happens to be her new nextdoor neighbor! Ready or not, her fate is already entwined with the stoic alien.


Kim Soo Hyun as Do Min Joon
Do Min Joon is an alien who landed on Earth during the early 1600s. He has lived more than 400 years as a human and prefers to keep his distance from other people. Retaining the same handsome, young appearance since his landing comes with a whole range of difficulties. Every 10 years Min Jin changes his identity in order to avoid suspicion. Not only that, but he also has senses 7x more acute than humans and has the power to stop time and even sometimes see into the future. His vast range of experiences and constant loneliness has instilled in him a sense of detachment and pessimism. According to him, there’s no point for him to be involved with people. Good thing he’ll be returning to his home planet in three months!


Park Hae Jin as Lee Hee Kyung
Lee Hee Kyung is the youngest son of a conglomerate. He is head-over-heels smitten with Song Yi and has been since their middle school days. He doesn’t have much of an interest in the family business and would much rather chase after his love. He’s proposed to Song Yi on multiple occasions, but they have thus far all failed. Don’t worry, this hasn’t stopped him from trying again and again.


Yoo In Na as Yoo Se Mi
Yoo Se Mi plays the second lead both in dramas and in her own life. She and Song Yi grew up together and both decided to pursue acting careers. Worse yet, she is in love with her friend Lee Hee Kyung, but he already loves Song Yi.  Se Mi just can’t catch a break.

This week's episodes were amazing! So hilarious. Ep 5 got a lot of things moving, especially in awakening Min Joon's feelings for Song Yi, and him finally coming to terms with it in ep 6. I loved ep 5 a lot. The rapping scene in the car in ep 6 was so funny.

I don't at all. I get the fated lovers part. Age wasn't with them when he first came, and now that age is with them, the timing is off because he has a possible chance to go home.

I think the romance part right now is very one sided on Min Joon's part though. Song Yi is still trying to sort out her life.

And, we are only on episode 6. Still so much story left.

I love how this drama takes all the crazy kdrama tropes and makes them amazing.

My only gripe, I don't really get the psycho brother. We know he's cray (THAT SCENE AT THE VET), but I don't really understand why he's going to these lengths to be the way he is.

Also, I really like how Min Joon is totally rich. I feel like lawyer friend will get it all because he cares for him. This also opens up the possibility that if he does leave, Song Yi will be taken care of.

ia, I find Semi very interesting as a character. As second female leads go, she is more complex than most. She's not a full-on antagonistic ass, nor is she simply a goody-goody who supports her friend despite being pushed to the side over and over again. Would be nice if the story explored her conflict.

YES I was waiting for this post. I'm so obsessed with this drama ide, it's ruining my studying schedule T_T! I'm so in love with SongYi, she's so funny, just the kind of humor I like lmaoo. Also love that MinJoon is falling for her, really interesting.. I curious to see how this is going to develop.

The evil brother, though hot as fq, needs to stawp. I was scared for a sec when he went to Songyi-ya her place.. Glad HeeKyung and MinJoon ~saved~ her. I'm curious to see what evil plans the evil brother has tho, he better leave my bb Songyi-ya alone!

Also a question I've been wanted to ask for a long time. Do these actors were speciale make-up, like TV male-up or smth.. Their skin look so smooth, so moisturised & flawfree. Is it some kind of hidden BBcream that I don't know of? lmao.

Still solid. Loving this show.

Cracks are starting to appear in Semi's facade. Will be interesting to see where the story takes her character. I understand her frustration at repeatedly being the second fiddle to Songyi, and the negative comments from her mom don't help either, so we'll see if she gives in to her resentment or if she realizes that Songyi's friendship means more to her.

Songyi's mom continues to be awful.

Although it's sweet that Hwikyung defends Songyi at any chance and is always on her side, he is just too much when it comes to showering attention and affection on Songyi. I like that Minjoon asked him if Songyi being his woman was a mutual decision, because nah, bro.

Minjoon and Songyi. <3 It was so cute how Minjoon took a step closer to her. 1 meter ins't that far, lol!

Also, I wonder how Songyi and Yihwa are related. Songyi doesn't like Joseon, and Yihwa's hairpin affected Songyi. Is this a past life kind of deal? Is Songyi going to eventually realize that she was Yihwa in some past life and remember what happened? Hmm hmm hmm.

Love the show. It is addictive. The acting was top notch. The best acting scene this week was the flashback to the Josean era, where we finally learn why Do Min Joon is so detached from the humans. The highlight was Kim Soo Hyun's crying scene. He was shaking and looks so devastated that as a viewer I start to believe in the romance. The Josean couple didn't get many scenes nor do I think they had very much time together but I just accepted that they were in love with that one scene.
The funniest part I found was the scene where DMJ acts out of jealously and let's it slip that Song Yi stayed overnight at his house.
I still don't get why the older brother is a serial killer. I hope it isn't just because he is psychotic.
Semi was well developed. I can understand why she acts the way she does. If I was in her situation... I don't know if I would act differently.
I like the writing. The show reveals the secrets with good pace

still side-eyeing the motives of creepy brother, because you know if he tries to hurt Songyi, he's gonna get punched by an alien
i don't think Se-mi is bad, but she's just sick of being #2 and that's shading her from seeing Songyi's nature. i have hope for her~
