2013 End of the Year Prediction Roundup

Last year we had a Kpop Prediction Post. Then we had a Mid-Year Roundup to see how well we had predicted things. Now it's time to see how well we did in the second half of 2013. We did really good! How well will out predictions go this year? Only time and the 2014 prediction post will tell.

• BEG will have a comeback in summer. Kill Bill July 29th


• AFTERSCHOOL won’t have any admissions this year. None that I have heard of.


• More couple reveals. The first half of the year had 8 reveals; second half had 5 more (some may only be possible couples). Jung Woo and Kim Yoomi?, Moon Geunyoung and Kim Bum, Sulli and Choiza?, Soyeon and Oh Jonghyuk, Jea and Choi Pilkang

• miss A will go back to being the fierce bitches they were during Bad Girl Good Girl days. Hush I don’t know if this is considered fierce, so I’m marking this as partly true. Feel free to correct me.


• Spica releases an amazing full-length album. There was a single album instead.


• Fired from styling 2ne1, Jeremy Scott will take over SNSD. Their ahjussi fans will stage a revolt in honor of their precious dancing queens. They wore Jeremy Scott during parts of IGAB promotion.


• GD will wear something normal and fangirls implode. No fangirls imploded, but GD dressed normally.

• Yoochun will return to his first love: music. Oh how much I really wanted this.


• Narsha drops a new solo album at the end of the year. She didn’t have a solo album, but she was one half of M&N with Miro.


• Jo Kwon will get married in a normal ceremony to the shock of everyone, and then promptly perform Animal at the reception.


• Sunny Hill will take over the world using grasshoppers and giant letters.


• The Spice Girls go Kpop, and no one can figure out why.


• KARA will release the next Korean song that goes viral. It will include a high amount of butt dancing in the choreography.


• Taeyang will finally wear clothes that won't make him look like Beelzebub.


• Taeyang will finally realize that dressing like he does gets him nowhere.


• TOP will finally take off his shirt. Kyaa~ I would’ve loved to see this.


• SM finally pays attention to CSJH The Grace and have them come back as four this year.


• f(x) has more than one comeback for 2013. They did have one comeback with the most amazing pop album, Pink Tape.


• Spica will rise to fame, kick butt and be the HBIC they are.


• SNSD will realize the “I got a boy meojin” part of their song is the best, will make that into a full song and then pull a Wonder Girls and perform it for 468048615 years.


• NS Yoon-G and Simon will make their relationship public.


• Hoya and Seo Inguk will finally get together, and Korea will be okay with it.


• JYJ will perform at music shows and encounter TVXQ backstage. It may or may not be awkward. Yeah, no JYJ albums. Instead Jaejoong released a mini album, a repackaged mini album, and full album; and Junsu released a full album.


• Jessica loses the phone with pictures of her members changing.

Edit: It has brought to my attention that SNSD wore Jeremy Scott for IGAB, so I moved that prediction to partly true. GD dressed normally.

I was hoping too much from Big Bang in my predictions for last year. Only Taeyang remaining dateless came true.

*TOP will be caught in a gay bar with his sugar daddy John Lee
*GD gets some girl pregnant and shotgun wedding ensues
*Taeyang remains dateless and becomes even more douche
*SeungRi's sextape appears, but instead of his career taking a hit he manages to do Kim Kardashian like rise with it.
*Daesung continues to visit his church daily (turns out that his dating minister's daughter)
*Regardless all these previous Big Bang releases their third full length Korean album at late fall with huge success and lands zillion CF deals.

God if only. I don't think this will ever happen though. That is probably why Yoochun has to do so many dramas...so that jyj can stay in the public eye in spite of their banishment from music shows D:

It depends on how you look at M+N. I suppose you can call it partly true since it's a duo sub-unit; I actually wasn't sure where to place it, but it wasn't a solo, so I put it as not true.

I only sort of payed attention to that stuff since I didn't like the title tracks.

I should look up who they wore for IGAB. It didn't remind me of what I've seen 2ne1 wore, and I didn't think SNSD wore Jeremy Scott.
