SYNOPSIS

Dokgo Ma-Te (Jang Keun-Suk) is the most beautiful man in the world. He is also an ambitious man and wants to make a lot money using his beautiful appearance. Dokgo Ma-Te meets Hong Yoo-Ra, the ex-daughter-in-law of a rich family. Hong Yoo-Ra recognizes Dokgo Ma-Te's ambitions and becomes his mentor. Hong Yoo-Ra then gives Dokgo Ma-Te a mission to seduce 10 different women. The women have all succeeded in different fields and Dokgo Ma-Te is to glean their special abilities.
A strange woman then appears in front of Dokgo Ma-Te. Her name is Kim Bo-Tong, an ordinary girl from poor background. She has a huge crush on Dokgo Ma-Te. Can she make Dokgo Ma-Te love her?

I just started on Episode 12 just now and I'm just screaming
WHY
WHY WOULD MA TE DO THAT

Ugh I really want Bo Tong and David to be together.
It's like, which one is obviously the right choice: the guy who compares you to his pinky toe or the guy who exposes his identity just to help you because he clearly worships the ground you walk on?

I don't get why K-Dramas do that...

It's actually based on a web comic so in this case the fault lies with the writer of the comic. Though I kind of wonder if maybe Ma Te is more likeable in the comic...

I'm just annoyed because the whole pacing of the show seems off. It's 16 episodes and although they've shown minute signs of growth/maturity in Ma Te, there is too little time left for him to convincingly do a complete 180 to become a guy who understands what Love Is and for the Who is Whose Son and Who Will Get MG And Why conundrum to be sorted. No blame on the actors though; JKS is doing the best he can with a cold character, and Bo Tong & Choi David are incredibly natural and adorbs.

I cheered when Botong slapped that girl. Tired of the rich getting away with murder in dramas. I still ship Botong with David.
