it will be a looooong time before a Chinese artist appears on the list considering physical sales are basically non-existent there due to piracy (there's a reason SM doesn't sell EXO-M or Suju-M albums on the mainland)
and actually I'm pretty sure Arashi were number 1 like back in October or November??? (they beat out Miley or Katy Perry or someone like that, so Japanese artists appear on the list quite frequently :)
