I was crying to this last night. What a heartbreaking song, but I adore it. Their voices together are amazing and I'm so excited when I hear true duets with harmonies so the moment I heard the harmonies in this my heart just about jumped out of my chest cos it's so beautiful. I had just been thinking recently that I wished I could hear some new music from Ali. She's one of the absolute best imo.
Their voices go well together, but I wasn't feeling the song. When I love ballads, I LOVE them, but then all other ballads kind of fall short in comparison. Unfortunately this falls into the latter category. The mv was kind of interesting, but it would have been better if only a portion of it was backwards, so you can fully process what was going on and the emotions he was trying to display.
