SM Rookies Update: Meet The Newest Trainee Lami! Featuring Tiffany and Prince

Here is the newest trainee SM is showcasing via they're new program, "SM Rookies". Her name is Lami and that's basically all we know about her yet. We see her playing around with Tiffany of SNSD and Tiffany's adorable dog Prince.

omg she is so young D: but if she keeps hanging out with princess Tiffany she'll grow up adorable and sweet. I always think about how funny it is how idols are so immune to other really good looking idols but this explains it. They're surrounded by attractive people for a really long time so it doesn't even matter anymore lol

Ok so my running theory right now:

Seul Gi and Irene look like they both took part in the same photoshoot (white clothes, same background, similar makeup) so I think they're both in the new upcoming girl group

Jae Hyun and Tae Yong also both took part in the same photoshoot (black clothes, grey background) and they're similar ages so they're probably members of the same group as well.

The younger two probably won't debut for a while (or they're child actors) and SM is just building their fanbase early

According to SM:

"SMRookies will introduce SM’s new “Co-Creation” system. Fans will be able to participate in preliminary events and showcases before the official debut. The rookies will have the freedom to form different groups with each other, and show their day-to-day lives and practices to their fans. These rookies will also participate in concert and variety shows to win the hearts of fans. We can also expect covers of songs by their company’s seniors and their own originally composed songs in open performances to showcase their talents."

I know Lami, Kim SungKyung! She was the child version of the lead female character from Joo JiHoon's drama Five Fingers. Another Sulli in the making.

So you know how in the past a lot of sm trainees were in dramas/cfs but didnt really have a fanbase before they debuted in their respective idol groups cause technically, they havent debuted/introduced to the world properly. This solves that problem. Child actors/young celebs being able to go into acting and attend variety shows or do other things but still can debut as part of an idol group in the long run? It's kind of genius. Acting/model agency system meets the idol system.
