YG Entertainment, its artists including BIGBANG, 2NE1, Lee Hi and Epik High, is arousing much attention as many are curios to see whether its artists will be making an appearance on KBS Gayo Daejun, an annual music program.
In the morning of Dec 9, KBS Entertainment Broadcasting station personnel told Star News, “We invited YG Entertainment to join KBS Gayo Daejun, which will be held on Dec 27.”
They added, “YG Entertainment told us that they will contemplate having their artists appear on the music show, including artists like BIGBANG and 2NE1,” and continued, “We are still waiting for their confirmation.”
Related personnel from YG Entertainment commented, “We are unsure of the attendance of YG artists at the 2013 KBS Gayo Daejun at this point.”
If the YG artists do attend the 2013 KBS Gayo Daejun, then this will be their first one in 4 years since 2010. Artists from this entertainment agency have not partaken at KBS Gayo Daejun for 3 consecutive years, since 2010 to 2012. However, they did not miss the ones in SBS and MBC.
YG Entertainment and KBS have been in the middle of a conflict because of the standards set for KBS Gayo Daejun. The artists from the agency did not make an appearance on KBS, but they showed that the conflict was untangled to some level by appearing on many different programs.
This is why all eyes are on YG artists including BIGBANG, 2NE1, Lee Hi and Epik High to see whether they will be making an appearance on this year’s KBS Gayo Daejun.
People are curios to see whether YG will be accepting the invitation sent from KBS, and whether the artists will be returning to the broadcasting station for the first time in 4 years to make the show even more dynamic.
The 2013 KBS Gayo Daejun is scheduled to be held on Dec 27.

I mean YG is probably still pissed off how KBS treated Big Bang during their Tonight comeback. Also their false reports during Daesung's scandal surely also soured the mood at YGE.

Plus last year's sbs gayo had those sm collab stages and I'm pretty sure they also had that in 2011 with the moves like jagger and circus stage. If u think about it medleys are good thing caz if u don't like a company, all of the artists u dislike will do their stages in one shot and then u don't have to see them for the rest of the show. It's also the time for a bathroom and/or snack break.
