In the last 8 days, 400,000 of the "Miracles in December" mini-album have been reserved in off-line music stores. This is up 100,000 copies from their XOXO album which reached nearly 300,000 pre-orders. For a more detaile breakdown: 401,230 pre-orders (Korean Ver: 243,200 copies, Chinese Ver: 158,010 copies).
This is what the Hanteo real-time update looked like at 10:00 A.M. KST (the first update of the morning). EXO's entire discography takes up the top 8 spots..... O_O

As a disclaimer: These are NOT fan pre-orders, but music store pre-orders. The general rule of thumb is that pre-orders are indicators; for both versions to total up to 400k+ is an 'indication' of their fandom's buying power.
