VIXX and Dynamic Duo, along with Goonam and Ratios will be performing in Cannes, France at the 2014 MIDEM festival!
The MIDEM is a festival that gathers music makers, cutting-edge technologies, brands and talents under one roof to source, sell and sign new music, digital solutions and innovative ideas.
Every year, South Korean artists are invited to perform for the "Kpop night out" concert. Previous guests for the event include Epik High, f(x), Juniel and MFBTY.
The concert will take place at the Palais des Festivals on the 2nd of February 2014.

a rumor says that VIXX is planning to hold a concert in Paris before the midem, and another one in Germany after but Jelpi hasn't said anything yet so idk what to do with that *crosses fingers*. I wish DD would do the same because Cannes is like on the opposite side of the country for me...

Date: 2013-12-09 07:25 am (UTC)The most non-fan friendly aka variety-ish is their Plan V diary series - 5 eps of pure hijinks. You can see them play with fireworks, eat/make food, play with cute animals, reveal predebut life, beat each other up (okay so that's just one particular member), play weird games, and just generally be embarassing. You can get a good grasp on their individual personalities and group dynamics pretty well in just these episodes.
And because they have a wide range of personalities from off-the-wall 4D to snarky to girl crazy to naggy to sassy to silent but deadly, the combination of them together is hilarious.

Date: 2013-12-10 12:32 am (UTC)-MyDol is not super funny but it's refreshing bc it's a "who will debut" show where the company is professional, and not outrageously cruel
-There's like 60+ episodes of MTV Diary and it's mostly relaxing, daily life stuff, so I wouldn't watch it looking to be converted. It's more sometime you watch for 10 minutes if you want to unwind from a stressful day than something you watch to be amused. Personally I like episode 18 (VIXX watches Spiderman), episode 20 (VIXX goof around at practice studio), and the last couple episodes (special with BTOB and MYNAME).
-They were pretty crazy on VIXXTV for a while, aha. The episodes to watch for that are 38, 39 and 42. Maybe start with episode 39 (VIXX makes bread), it's kind of epic.
