The last day of my school's Dead Week got cancelled due to Snowpocalypse 2013, and my state is never equipped to handle the winter weather; now I'm scrambling to finish up projects and turn them in on time. I'm grateful for the day off, though.

The fake it 'til you make it attitude works sometimes in my case. I can relate to not feeling the Christmas spirit, especially when finals are right before the holidays. My family and I just turned our house into winter wonderland and I'm playing Christmas music whenever possible lol The past few Christmas have been pretty eh to me so I'm trying to make it feel a little more exciting.

I was complaining for a month to everyone I know (and here on omona) about this one class and how stupid I am and I shouldn't be in school, etc. So I got the results of my exam today and I'm in the top 10% of the class. So I'm feeling arrogant today.

in the shim shim tapa interview with SHINee, taemin, key and jonghyun ALL said that they preferred symptoms over everybody which IS A WAAAAY BETTER SONG ANYWAYS, so why did they make everybody the title track???? :((
also the part where key says that this comeback he felt that SM didnt listen to his concerns and was overlooked was so sad :(
seriously, they had 3 comebacks this year and they should have done 1 hardcore dance song, one full on vocal talent going on and one quintessential experimental SHINee track.

it should have been-
1st comeback- Beautiful (club party dance song, similar to fantastic baby)
2nd comeback- Orgel/excuse me miss/sleepless nights
3rd comeback- Symptoms

sorry for the rant but that part in the interview just pissed me off the wrong way ¬___¬

Got into a "should the US raise the minimum wage?" debate with some idiots on Facebook yesterday. Got called stupid and heavy implication that I was slut, because I said Obama had helped me in many ways, one being that my birth control is now free. I got a lot of satisfaction out of responding that I didn't use birth control because I couldn't "close my legs", but because cysts will destroy my one remaining ovary otherwise.

That's not to say using BC for sex is bad, I just loved being able to slap in their face that free birth control doesn't just help "sluts".

on some completely unimportant and uninteresting news, someone actually gifted me a screwdriver today. a fucking screwdriver, i shit you not. it's for my office's weekly secret santa thingy where everyone has to give out cheap gifts every week.

I clean my make up and face with micellar soultion (I use Avene one). I'm usually too lazy to clean my face after it (and it's good not to? idk), but if I do, I use a Lush soap (it's a black one?). After that I spray some thermal water on my face, I have dry skin so this really helps . And then put my cream (again Avene). Once a week, I do a peeling, I use Vichy one.
My skin looks best if I don't wash it with tap water (it sounds weird, I know, but my dermatologist recommends it) but only with thermal water, but I feel dirty so I don't do that.
This isn't really helpful, sorry.

I want a recommendation for a BB cream, something that I can find in Europe so I can try the color before buying.
