At 'Prime Minister and I' press conference on December 4th, Yoon Si Yoon talked about his addiction in reading books.
When he was asked,"Yoon Si Yoon is known as a person who reads many books, to prepare for this drama what kind of books have you read?", he answered,"I study about young politicians. But because of the filming schedule so I haven't read much, I usually read during my break time"
He also added,"I love reading, it makes me relax. I think I'm addicted to it. If I don't have anything to read I will feel agitated. So that's why I have a bad eyesight".
His co-actors also impressed with his habit. Ryu Jin said,"Even on filming set he read many books. This is the first time I saw someone like him. He also knows by heart all of his lines in the script. It seems he read the script at least 100 times, he takes notes on every little details"
Chae Jung Ahn said,"If other men are addicted to drinking, smoking and coffee, then Yoon Si Yoon is addicted to reading books"
In addition, "Prime Minister and I" will be aired on December 9th on KBS2.

Date: 2013-12-06 04:18 am (UTC)However, rather than studying on my hour long bus rides to and from campus, I got the time to reread Ender's Game and also read the (kind of) sequel Ender In Exile. Seeing the movie reminded me of how much I love the series, so much that I decided to finally read the sequel, which has then made me adamant to reading Bean's story and all the others. While I wait to receive these books, I'm rereading The Outsiders and We Need To Talk About Kevin.

Date: 2013-12-06 04:21 am (UTC)As for what I'm reading, I'm waiting for my semester to finish up before I start anything new. I have a few books downloaded, but I think the next one on my list to read was "North and South". The last book I finished reading was "Little Women". It was my first time reading it and I LOVED it! I'm kind of tempted just to re-read it!

Date: 2013-12-06 04:25 am (UTC)I got an e-reader for my birthday in April and I think I actually have been reading non-stop since. I feel like I am back in my element because I had stopped reading for a long time. I think I was just in a big slump. Sad days, yo.
Right now I'm reading A Dance with Dragons. And then I will have to wait for the rest of the Song and Ice and Fire series like everyone else. Not looking forward to it, lol. But afterwards, I think I am either going to read The Tale of Genji or Yukio Mishima's Sea of Fertility series. I am in the mood for Japanese literature. I also have a copy of Catcher in the Rye I want to read as well as I've never read it except for part of the first chapter once in high school (it was laying on a desk and I read a bit before class started).

Date: 2013-12-06 04:28 am (UTC)The book was... difficult. I read fairly often and usually I have no problems getting at least most of what was meant to be conveyed. However, I finished this book... confused. About Kevin, specifically. I can understand all of the other characters, except for the one that was the whole point of the book. Maybe if I was smarter, I would understand why, or if I had taken that psychology course I would have been able to analyse Kevin better. I just... couldn't.
Of course, WNTTAK was an assigned book for my English class, and at the time I was on a schedule and just needed to get it done in time to write the essay. I want to reread to see if I can pick up the small details now that I know the big picture and what's happening next. It's incredibly fascinating and just compelling, if you can get past the first few (boring) chapters. It really made me think. I reccomend it to everyone.
(And so yes I apparently have strong feelings about this book since I feel like I could have written a better essay about it than I did in high school.)
