Recently, over 10,000 people were victimized by typhoon Haiyan, and 2NE1′s Sandara Park and MBLAQ’s Chun Doong participated in a fundraising campaign hosted by ‘We Generation’.
Sandara Park and Chun Doong spent their childhood in Philippines, and it is said that they decided to stand up people in Philippines.

Jang Keun-suk Donates 100 Mln Won to the Philippines

Korean actor Jang Keun-suk has donated big for needy people in the Philippines.
Jang has donated 100 million Korean Won (approximately 94,509 US Dollars) to the Philippines through UNICEF, his promoter Y Tree Media said through a press release on Monday.
To repay enormous support from his fans around the world, he has decided to deliver the money for Filipino people who are suffering from Tropical Storm “Haiyan.”
The “You’re Beautiful” star has participated in various good deeds and donations to return support and affection he has been receiving. His fan club is also active in volunteer works to be inspired from Jang, Y Tree explained.
Meanwhile, Jang’s current TV series “Bel Ami” has been airing on KBS every Wednesday and Thursday 10 p.m. Korea time.

Continuing its string of good deeds, YG Entertainment presented the ‘Dream Gift’ to heart disease patients.
Teaming up with the Yonsei Severance Hospital, YG Entertainment created an album titled Once in a Lifetime, fulfilling the dreams of Professor Ha Jong Won of the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine, who hoped that one day proper treatment be given to patients despite their financial status.
The album was given as gifts with the receivers being moved to donate, raising 50 million won in just three months.
Not only that, Yang Hyun Suk decided to personally donate 100 million won and create the ‘Dream Gift’ campaign, which will focus on sponsoring families who have family members struggling with this disease.

BTOB spreads the winter joy through volunteering works
Boy group BTOB has joined hand in hand with organization ‘Uensae’ (Happy Silver World) and took the lead to share the winter joy with the elderly.
On the 28th, BTOB carried out volunteer works for underprivileged elderly, personally distributing 500 pieces of coal bricks and 1,000 kg of rice.
