Synopsis: The world at your feet and the weight of the world on your shoulders. This drama is so goddam awful. Who do I have to bribe to put one of the f(x) girls in a decent drama that I can actually enjoy? jfc. There's never enough Bona/Chanyoung, Hyoshin, Hyun Joo or even Won. Nothing makes sense, I don't understand why anyone does anything at all. Tan is awful, if he got hit by a car and killed...I don't think i'd blink. Actually, none of the main characters would be missed if they vanished imo. Countdown till this wraps tbh.

this drama is terrible but i've been rooting for youngdo since the beginning and i still am. his character development thus far is impressive and, regardless of what he's done in the past, he's being a really good person right now. eunsang is dumb as crap and i believe about 0% of her feelings for tan because the drama actually doesn't give their relationship any foundations strong enough to do what they're both doing for each other????

i still think shinhye & minho are way overrated but i have to keep watching for woobin omg

I just can't believe how useless this show turned out to be. I mean, there's 3 episodes left and still no POINT. No real STORY, PURPOSE, MEANING.

Random thoughts:
1) Tan called ES a CGI... really korea... CGI?! Has the world gotten to the point where people think CGI = personal dreams???
2) Tan/ES Moms better be endgame because I don't think Ki-Ae's going to survive 3 days without her boo.
3) I hate that the writer made Rachael/Hyoshin(?)happen like that, THEY COULD HAVE BEEN PERFECT! (but I stll want Rahael/Won, Hyoshin/teacher!)
4) AAWW, I actually liked how they use LOVE IS THE MOMENT for that back hug (I had totally forgotten about that OST)!
5) Dad is pure EVIL, but I figured out his plan as soon as Won started begging people. LMAO @ How useless he made them seem. I'm totally here for him disowning the both of them.
6) EVERYONE knew ES was going tyo peace-out (maybe not Tan). But I don''t think anyone really cares(there's 4 ep left, she'll be back by the 15 minute mark of ep 17 ).

I just need to say this. I'm catching all the up on this show and as much as I luv Kim Tan he doesn't really need this down to earth girl Young Do does, he is so fucked in the head it's sad and he really is in like/ luv with her. LMH always play these dudes that just force their luv onto girls and he wears them the fuck down.
I'm sure my mind will change I'm only on 11 but I doubt it. Young Do and his eyebrows are killing me.

the past two episodes felt like a whole different show as all the characters decided to just skip the character development part and change their personality entirely.
like kim tan and choi young do were fighting over the girl with chairs flying and shit and this week what, they're bffls who just happen to like the same girl?
and why does the fuck choi young do, the attractive asshole, suddenly decide to help out the main leads in their fight for love? like, you still like her dumbass. why do you even go to the extent of going to kim tan's house to rescue him???
rachel and hyoshin kissing came out of nowhere and like young do, hyo shin was completely in love with hyun joo and did i miss something in his scenes that implies in any sort of way that he was giving up on her?
like, what happened between episode 14 and 15???

kim tan is still a privileged asshole and i love that he complains about how he has nothing in his life and was sent to a prison for four years when he has the girl, a mom, and now the stocks. woohoo what a terrible life.

park shin hye needs to work on her acting because i get that her character is crying and frowning all the time but that frowning wasn't needed in the kiss scene, which made it look all the more creepy and forced when for the first time it wasn't supposed to be.

can we stop putting young do to play the third wheel because it was hilariously sad that the main couple's cutesy scene is seen from young do's viewpoint (who's heartbroken) which just makes the main couple look like terrible people instead of cute. like, give him his own damn plot, let's have him look for mom please.

it was a week of characters crashing into wormhole of wtf and i'm so pissed the ratings broke 20%.

You must have missed ep 14.562. It was brilliant. Everyone cried, laughed, did some meth, gave birth, and did it all again.

Seriously, I knew this writer was going to just randomly change character personalities to fit her endgoal the moment we got to ep 10 and NOTHING had happened.

I'm watching this for all the other characters but the two main ones. Kim Tan, after every episode, grows more creepy, possessive and annoying. YoungDo might be socially behind but at least he has some sense. I've never watched a korean drama where they fuck up the main character this much, making most (unbiased) people stop rooting for him which is kind of weird for as they end up together at the end let's be real. Too much of his problems and whatever is shown, I hope we get more airtime for sidekicks because they're really carrying this show.

i can't believe half of my classmates are actually watching this. from what i've read/seen of it (and the first 4 episodes that i watched), kim tan is a potential date rapist, youngdo is a bully, chanyoung/bona are the saving grace of the show. plus the kiss scene was horrible and it seemed kind of non-con ((or is it just PSH's acting)) and I just got so turned off by the show. This just seems like an even worse version of B.O.F.

The worst part is I can't even criticize it without my friends jumping down my throat about it.

Youngdo and Hyoshin plus the two moms are the only interesting thing in this show. Kim Tan needs to come with a domestic violence trigger warning. Shinhye cannot act. She was decent in other roles but her surprised expression is over the top shocked fish face. Compare that to Woobin's much more subtle look when Eunsang asked how he was doing.

Are you talking about the part where his dad and rachel's mom engagment breaks out? because yessss, god that was a magical moment, my respect for woobin and his acting just went through the roof after that!

The amount of emotion he seems to convey through micro-expressions are just amazing. That one scene is really memorable to me :)

I actually skip through scenes if he's not in them. And even though I'm skipping through 70% of the show, I STILL know what's happening. Which says that NOTHING MUCH IS HAPPENING AT ALL.

It amazes me how 17 episode s could literally be explained with 1 (long) sentence: "2 psychotic rich male frienemies have decide they're "in love" with some broke girl (who doesn't have the sense to protect her family's lifesaving or run potential rapist) who they will fight to the death for until one randomly decides he's a "lover" not a "fight", also their families and friends(except for 2 idiots and a really smart poor dude) are all fucked up and have NO control nor understanding of their hormones. "

After reading everyone's comments about the kiss (which I mostly missed, because I was skipping through and as a pretty hardcore LMH fan I've been trying to avoid all semi-rapey scenes in hopes of not damaging the "relationship" we have) and watching 1 too many PSH dramas, I've come to the realization that she's a lesbian. The girl is just NOT here for the D.

Now, before ya'll gather your pitchforks, I want to remind you that nothing is wrong with homosexuality, gay people can act straight characters (obviously some of them better than others), and you're denial will ruin the dreams of lesbian drama fans all over the world.

Trying to create chemistry with Park Shin-hye is the equivalent of making out with a mop. She's so stiff, and I hate her scenes with LMH. There's nothing appealing about this couple, and I don't care how much they emphasize the "depth of Tan's love" and the sacrifices he's willing to make. He still comes off as a controlling ass.

There's such an entertaining ensemble cast that's being wasted on the main couple, and that's the most unfortunate thing for me. Heirs shouldn't have spent so many episodes in California. It prevented the drama from starting at an even pace and it seems like significant things only started happening in the last 3 episodes or so. What a waste.
