Synopsis: The world at your feet and the weight of the world on your shoulders. I enjoyed the eps a lot more this week (that might be because I was knitting a totally awesome cabled fisherman's sweater at the same time - I have skillz people!), plenty of plot movement this week. Music placement and song choice was much more fun as well - except the party when Myung soo was rocking out harder than the music. Awkward! But maybe he's always like that, I'm not gonna judge.
Had a brief scare with Chan Young and Bo Na, but me and my drama watching buddy (my pomeranian, Sophie) formed a prayer circle and all was made right in the Heirs world.
Rachel has totally lost it. Does she actually think treating people like crap and publicly humiliating others is going to make Tan like her?  Sorry Rachel, that shit only works for chaebol kdrama heroes.

I'm sure Rachel does know that what she's doing won't make Tan like her. But she knows one way or another, she still has the resources to make him remain by her side. With Tan publicly insisting on being with Eun Sang, it totally humiliated her and hurt her sky-high pride and humongous ego. Plus, she likes him so it hurts her even more that they're engaged but she can't have him, and he even tried to break the engagement just to be with some girl he met briefly in the US (okay there're other reasons too but this is one of them). If she can't have him, then Eun Sang can't have him either.

It's also revealed that Young Do is afraid of Tan growing up and maturing alone, leaving him behind. So he picks on Tan as a way to keep Tan immature or something 'cos if you return someone's jab, you're stooping yourself to his level.

The 2 of them are so attached to Tan that it's so sad.

I'm pissed because I think Kim Eun Sook purposely sent Rachel to the point of return to give more pity to Eun Sang and Tan. Like, Rachel's been mean but she's jumped high on her bitch scale this week. What happened? Jesus.

Young Do is keeping his hair down from now on apparently. I don't know how I feel about this because I've been part of put your fucking hair down camp since the beginning of the show but was slowly changing my mind as KWB loses more weight and he was pulling off the hairstyle a lot better as the episodes went by. Now he looks like Heungsoo all over again and I feel like I just need to find Namsoon to put him next to Young Do whenever Young Do looks like a tearful puppy.

That party scene at the end was ridiculous yo, like Secret Garden was already hilarious with the typical omg Oscar the Fairy Godmother changes Cinderella Gil La Im into someone beautiful and fancy, but this was so Boys Over Flower-ish with high school students and terrible lines all around I was just like, ughhhhh ughhhhh when is this ending ughhhh
Bona is a saint because if someone jacked my party like that I would not be sitting around watching the spotlight shine on some random people.
Also I like how Myung Soo calls Young Do to come over and when he does no one is paying attention to him because Myung Soo is too damn busy playing cheesy song (what a failure of a dj) and Young Do stares at the party for two seconds and leaves. No one even noticed him coming and leaving.

The major problem is the show is trying to show how sad the lives of Tan and Eun Sang are and how we should pity them but omg none of these characters are pitiful. Rachel and Young Do might be, but their assholery stuff kills any chance of that and I keep watching Tan and Eun Sang cry over their problems and I'm like yo you're 18. Tan's monologue about how terrible his life is just made me roll my eyes.

Only person worth pitying and crying over is Hyoshin but I keep thinking Kim Eun Sook just really liked School 2013 seeing Hyoshin's problems basically matching Minki's and Young Do and Tan's non-issue of a fight as opposed to actual dilemma with HeungSoon. God I miss School 2013.

I'm sorry but I'm so pressed with this week's episodes get a very high ratings! 23% & 24% are just too high for a drama without plots and cheesy script & actings -- people might mistaken for it to be actually good since the ratings pick up tremendously compared to the beginning. And looks like Minho will keep taking trash projects like this in the future. :((

MTE, it seems like there's no point in most of the things that Young Do is doing... Like I understand that he's sad that Eun Sang doesn't love him back but it's not like you can force people to love you... Same with Rachel trying to blackmail Tan into liking her. A five year old knows that that's not the way you get people to like you.

At this point, I'm here for Secretary Yoon, whose hair I just want to run my hands through, Won and his shoulders and lovesick Yongdo. Does anyone else play his scenes back just to study him? I love the way he emotes, I love the way he talks, I love everything about him. I love that his acting totally trancends the shitty writing. #obsessed.

Also, I wish Tan would get hit by a car right after Eunsung stands up for herself by reminding him she's not 5 years old. I know they're both terrible when it comes to her but idk, I feel like YD treats her a little bit more like a person that can make choices and speak for herself than Tan does. Does anyone else kind of feel that way? It might just be that I'm a YD wife because KWB can actually act whereas LMH can't, bless his soul.

though I do not condone any of her actions because she has done some fucking crazy shit but ughh I hate in general how they portray the second female leads and I feel like she never started out this vindictive. She could have been a great kick ass character but they have made her out to be like this which really sucks. They hardly ever show what could make the audience sympathize with her or something other than just her being the bitchy girl torturing the main girl.

It's like the more vindictive and evil she is made, the better youngdo and tan look which lbr idk they are all pathetic and douchey.

It's funny, because she's yet to do something worst than Tan or Youngdo. Most of the really bad stuff she's done is straight out of the "YoungTan's Guide to Messing with People and Making Their Lives Miserable".

it's so frustrating. like the netizens and fans of the show on the internet are crazy and it's really funny how there's this huge tension between tan's fans and youngdo's fans and anyone who says anything bad about the show in any way (like the school violence, how the main couple is boring as fuck, how the entire show is falling apart), the fans are like ugh this is totally a ploy from the youngdo/kim woo bin fans who are just pissed he's not getting the spotlight trying to make the show look bad and i'm like um, no, they're both assholes and the show does suck.

some journalist wrote some article about how the main couple isn't cheered on for their romance for et cetera reasons and omg certain fans (i wonder whose) were so insistent that it was a media play from kim woo bin's agency and how it's so rude they even did that and i'm like um dude kim woo bin is still in the show, you know? like no one is set out to ruin the show they're getting paid to be in. jesus fucking christ.

Chan Young and Bo Na are cute, but Hyo Shin and Won really make it for me. Especially Hyo Shin. That the show manages to gloss over his depression, suicidal tendencies, and familial issues and give screen time to those three morons and their love triangle kills me inside. I watch Hyo Shin for the seriousness--the rest has gotten to the point where it's so bad it's good and all I can do is laugh.
