Real name Kim Yeon Jung, a female SM producer who is on the rise to replacing Yoo Young Jin. Highly loved by SM fans for her high quality music. While attending Berklee College of Music, she was scouted by Lee Soo Man after catching his eye.

Highly loved by SHINee fans for songs like 'Graze', 'REAL', and 'Life'. Amazingly, she adapted the lyrics for Park Hyo Shin's famous 'Snow Flower'. Also the composer behind 'Hye-ya'.



Hitchhiker (Jinu)

Has a short history with SM but a long career as a musician. Former bassist for the band Rollercoaster and has since transitioned into composing full time since his leave from the group. Focuses on EDM songs. Used to compose for several idols, mostly known for BEG's 'Abracadabra' and INFINITE's 'Come Back Again', before SM nabbed him for once and for all by contracting with him. Now solely works for SM.

A Swedish producer and composer. He isn't under SM but SM has been using his works often.

Kim Young Hoo

Has been under SM since their beginnings but hasn't been active as of late. Known as the composer who is the least SM in style. High knowledge of public taste and high quality music as well.

Shin Hyuk

The figure behind the song of the year (OP: I think they're talking about Growl?). Not SM's producer. Runs a company in America with co-composers but still has a lot of his work hired by SM.

Works with other idols since he's not exclusively under SM but SM seems to adore him as they make all of his songs into title tracks. After the success of Growl, it seems they'll continue to work with him in the future.

LLO is SHINee's most underrated title song imo. if u want fierce SHINee, go listen to Sherlock. If u want R&B SHINee its LLO.

i was hoping someone would post this.

- glad to know that the knetizens feel pretty much the way i do about YYJ. he was good in his hey day, but lately he has been super stale.

- Thomas Troelsen needs to write more for SJ, Boa's Eat You Up was awesome. and SJ's Opera really should have been the lead song on that album. it doesn't surprise me that is why it did end up being a Japanese single release.

- i think i'm mostly surprised that Hitchhiker can come up with BEG: Abracadabra and then baffle us with SJ's A-Cha.

- as for Kenzie and YYJ's crazy english lyrics, i don't understand. especially Kenzie when she went to school in the US. they need to stop it cause it makes them more laughable.

random: with the an impending new SJ in 2014 (as we hope), i do wonder if YYJ (who seems to have stepped back some) will take the helm for it or will SMe let someone else step up to shape it.

I'm praying SM has contracted Shin Hyuk for more songs, since he literally produced basically my top 3 songs from this year. Hopefully he continues to work with EXO so they can develop their identity a bit more *finger crossed*
