Seungri to Appear in Japanese Drama

Starting from next month, he will be making an appearance in a Japanese drama called, "Youbicoi-A Message to You" as a Korean overseas student named Han Seung Ho.

He will be acting out an innocent first love romance and will be working with many popular actors in Japan.

This drama expresses the innocent and pureness of young people's first love.

The honesty and reality of the story line will surely capture the audience's attention.

Seungri commented, "I studied hard in order to play my role. I studied Japanese everyday and made sure everything sounded correct. I hope that I am able to show a different side of me through this role."

He also worked together to created the theme song for the drama as well.

The theme song is also included in his most recent solo album release.

Seungri solidifying his Japanese career. It's good he has found his 'niche' in Japan (a very large and profitable niche it should be said) and I must stress yet again how much I respect his drive and dedication. If only I could even borrow 10% of it I'd be happy, no joke.

I don't usually like Japanese dramas but I will definitely watch this. He was hilarious in the trailer. He's doing a great job of keeping his face familiar to Japanese fans.

Oh it's really so weird to see Kanata Hongo all grown-up since I've watched so many of his old drama/movies
