Tony An is being investigated for engaging in illegal gambling.

On November 11, Tony An was called in by the police for allegedly illegal gambling. According to the staff of QTV’s 20th Century Boys, which he has been appearing in, they haven’t been able to get in touch with Tony An.


A QTV staff reported, “We only found out about Tony after we saw the article. We had no idea of his illegal actions, so there is nothing we can say at the moment. Nothing has been decided regarding his appearance on our show.”

Lee Soo Geun and Tak Jae Hoon are also being investigated for illegal gambling.

Im still confused at how the korean law operates around gambling.
What's "illegal" gambling and when does regular gambling become "illegal"
Shin jung Hwan got jailtime for gambling in the philippines.
And shin hye sung for gambling in macau.
Are you just not allowed to gamble if you're korean?

Idk about the rest, but Korea does have casinos (there's even ads in Seoul!), but you can only enter if you show up with a foreign passport. Korean citizens can't actually enter.
