i'm just hoping there will be some good ol' r&b / babymaking music on this album. taeyang is one of my favorite R&B voices in the kpop world, so i'm hoping he'll at least do one or two songs like that.

Well...I guess out of the two mvs and this, this is the best version I've seen of it. I still say there are some parts of the choreo that lack energy so it ends up looking clunky and awkward. Technically it took skill, but if you can't bring energy to it, there's no point. The song is okay though. I can jam to it. I just need more proof that I should YG my money, cuz this song isn't it.

I actually didn't enjoy the live as much as I thought I would. I really like the song, but 2/3 of the way through the performance I was like "hmmm is this over soon? bored." This is just the pre-release though so maybe the "wow" factor is being saved for the title track!

Slightly off topic, and this is in no way directed Taeyang, but kpop in general - I'm getting so sick of everyone wearing black and white. I get it. It's a trend right now, but ugh it's so boring to me! Kpop should be about crazy stage clothes and makeup, not black/white tshirts or jerseys and black pants. Coordi-noonas are probably happy though lol, makes everything a lot easier when you only have 2 colors to work with.

I love the song and I love the MV - but this live is not really doing it for me. I feel like it is lacking something, like some parts are missing energy. Overall it is fine just not as explosive as I would have wanted it to be? If that makes sense, lol.
