T.O.P recently participated in an interview with media outlet TV Daily to talk about his movie 'The Commitment,' which already took the number one spot in the box office on its very first day in theaters.
He talked about his co-star Kim Yoo Jung, who plays the younger sister his character is determined to protect in the movie. He said, "Although Yoo Jung is the youngest, her attitude is very sincere and mature so that I fooled around all the more."
The interviewer said, "It seems like men sort of have a fantasy in relation to younger sisters," suggesting men have a desire to protect and take care of them much like how T.O.P's character does in the movie.
T.O.P responded, "I think so. It would be different if it were an immature younger sister, but if were someone like Kim Yoo Jung in real life, I think I would be very affectionate towards her. I don't think I would do anything bad and would live with honor and principles. How should I put it.. It feels like there is a certain depth."
While T.O.P only has an older sister in real life, he was asked, "If you did have a younger sister, is there a Big Bang member you would introduce her to?"
With wide eyes, T.O.P said, "If I had a younger sister.. to a member?" The interviewer insisted, "Aren't they cool?"
T.O.P said, "They are cool friends, but that has nothing to do with this. To those rascals, my family?" He laughed, then continued, "If he makes my younger sister cry, the teamwork may fail so for the sake of work, I can't involve my family."
It seems that if a Big Bang member were to make his younger sister cry, T.O.P might very well go into 'The Commitment' mode! Make sure to check out the movie if you get the chance!

Date: 2013-11-10 01:53 pm (UTC)Haha, I had a job in major movie (major in my country Poland :)) this summer, the guys from the crew automatically assumed I'm inexperienced in relationships, so they used to give me lectures about men. It was hillarious. Exactly what you said. All men are animals, they tried to taught me the importance of sex in everything, that I should get an older bf (I went around saying I only fancy guys younger than me, it was kind of a protection against few much older (even married...) guys who hitted on me there. it worked).
I was pretty uncomfortable tho, few times they went very far as asking me if I'm a virgin (none of their bussiness) and making jokes of it.
After that job, I decided to live alone till death XD No men. Seriously, I'm fed up.

i have 5-years older sister and i'm the youngest, it's left a mark in my personality. like they are always bickering and i'm the quiet, calm and mature one. plus my parents marriage wasn't a wreck when they were growing up, so haven't learned to ignore their issues like i did, since there was bigger shit going on. i had child depression that no one noticed and basically it evolved into clinical one.
