but GD isn't bad with lyrics. It really depends, I mean look at 'bad boy' for example that was a really nice song. Plus this song was produced by Jose E.Luna. Check him up, he has made some sick beats.
Glad Taeyang is getting the chance to experiment like he wanted to, instead of being stuck in the R&B, hiphop, pop mode. I loved that mode, but if he wants to change it up a bit, why not?
I predict the album with have those styles, but also go off into a lot of different avenues. This should be interesting.
Craaazzzy...but I love it lol. Right now the concept is making this for me. The beat is really good too, but I wonder if that's the best part (and that wouldn't be a good idea). I hope it leads up to more. For the most part, I'm really excited to see the full concept and anticipating the rest.
I reckon this is Taeyang's craziest concept and most alternative song from the album. It's a clever way to increase anticipation on what everything else is going to sound like, but I really hope I'll get some r&b tracks on the album. I do think that's what will happen in the end.
I like it. Not sure how I feel about the tribal markings yet...but I guess it adds contrast in a largely black & white video. Actually, one part from this reminds me of FKA Twigs Papi Pacify video--the body glitter part. I guess body glitter will be making a come back now or Taeyang has been listening to the newer sub-genres in R&B that are breaking out.
Anyway, it's not the norm and that's cool. Let him try new things, I say.
To everyone who called him boring during Solar era. You happy now? It's a shame too because all it's doing is distracting from the beat/melody that sounds really damn good!
