A drama about a group of college students who live in a boarding house located in Shinchon, run by Na Jung and her family, that houses students from all over the countryside who come to Seoul for college. It will cover the lives of college freshmen in 1994 as they learn to live in a big city and what the students will go through as they experience Seoul, the basketball tournament obsession, Seo Taiji and Kids, and other social issues that occurred in 1994.

I can't wait to see why Yoon Jin was crying, I hope it isn't Seo Taiji related lol.

Episode 4 made me tear up so much, from Haetae freaking out about his mum and eating the jam to Na Jeong's real oppa and Trash getting her the seal. I can't wait for more Bing Geu Rae and Yoon Jin though, I like that each episode takes time to delve into the different characters.

I may be part of the minority, but I hope najung ends up with chilbong.

The show would really benefit with some faster pacing. While I understand this show is more about the ride and the character development than the end result, some scenes and dialogue feel like they last too long.

I'm still on the fence but I think I'm leaning towards Chilbong. I can't help but wonder if she likes Trash because he gives her a sense of familiarity/comfort.

Najung-Chilbong shippers are definitely the minority on the "Reply 1994" soompi thread. It seems to be pretty balanced over at dramabeans, and I guess it's the major ship on omona based off the comments on this post.

I've actually stopped watching this since it seems Trash could be an endgame guy. I absolutely hate when they pull 'they're not your real sibling so it's ok to be in love with them' plots; it really puts me off. I might come back to it of it turns out she gets with someone else in the end.

I did end up rewatching my fave scenes from Reply 1997 after watching this season tho. The atmosphere is the same. ^^

I wanted to fall in love with this drama and I'm sad it didn't happen yet when we're already four episodes in. I know they have more time to develop the drama but I think they're taking too long to establish the characters when I instantly cared about AM97 whole set of characters.

And when the goat sound has always cracked me up before, I feel like they're overusing/misusing it this time around, more than half the time I know it's coming and I'm waiting for it, instead of laughing with the show.

Does Najung never go to uni? I don't think we've ever seen her in class/studying.

Ep 4 had me tearing up at nearly every scene. Haetae calling his mom killed me. And omg I was not expecting the confession twist. I can't wait to see the Haetae/Yoonjin loveline because they're in the run for my favourite characters
