I liked that part where Han Chae Ah's character cleans the chopsticks for him and lays out the other utensil, and he tells her to not do that. That was a memorable scene.

Overall though, this drama is just okay.

na mirae's meddling older self really doesn't seem to know her younger self at all... it's like she herself never had those dreams and goals and she can't figure out why mirae would want to try to become a broadcast writer instead of studying her ass off for a profession she has no interest in. it's like they're two different people entirely?

that said, it's all so very cute and yonghwa's character is kind of perfect in the way he deals with everyone.

Maybe because future mirae didnt have those dreams when she was younger. Present mirae sort of had the break through with those fishes which only happened after she met future mirae. And future mirae already messed with time by bringing her to jeju.

Present Mirae mentioned that she'd sent in ideas to writers before but no one really took heed of her, and since that's all in the ~past~ before the time travelling hijinks, that's indicative of some interest in the area of broadcast writing and influencing what goes on behind the scenes for both future and present Mirae, no?

You're right, though; the breakthrough scene with the fish where she decides she wants to work hard and struggle for her dream career wouldn't have happened without future Mirae's meddling, so without it, it's quite possible that future Mirae let the dream die as a mere passing thought rather than ever entertaining the idea of making broadcast writing her real job.

i love this drama. love it!

-i ship ShinRae so hard. YEH and LDG have soo much chemistry

-I love Seo-yoo and find her adorable and harmless. Her scene in the restaurant warmed me and I can see how they would grow to like/fall for each other. Han Chae-ah is such a talented goddess.

-i adore Shin's character. His morals, his cursing, his interest in Min-rae, his interactions with his staff...everything. I love the way he stood up to Miranda granny and won.

-Young-hwa still can't act but it is not so bad that is grating. I do like his character though and also ship him and his destined second lead girl.

-Loved it when Min-rae stood up to future Min-rae (FMR) and explained she does want to rely on a man now or in the future. Still don't know how I feel about FMR. I like her as a character but don't like her meddling and need to know why she is (I don't buy the story she sold Mn-rae).

I am loving this drama! Mirae has changed so much from the original timeline and I really like her growth as a character. Her scene with Future Mirae about not wanting to lean on a man was so great, it demonstrated how different she is/could have been. I'm still excited to watch her fall in love, but now it's not about her needing a man, it's about her wanting one and her feelings of self worth are no longer reliant on who she marries. Now I want to see her kick ass at the broadcasting station to accomplish her dream. I am so nervous about Future Mirae's meddling...

Lots of funny moments as well.

I really like that in future Mirae's meddling, past Mirae was able to change her fate, all she needed was some encouragement to pursue her dreams. I'm liking the drama, I'm glad it's not like other time travelling ones that only involve some crap where they weren't popular in high school or some crap.

Yes, it's much more engaging than I though it was going to be considering how we went through a slew of time travel dramas recently! There's also some interesting themes about Fate vs. Choice as well, with Future Mirae's message about how somethings/people you meet are destined to happen - which seems to be true to an extent as Mirae still met Shin - but Future Mirae is so focused on things that are 'destined' to come true that she ignore's how Mirae's choices has changed both the timeline and herself as a person. Ahhh, so good!!

You just described what I really love about this story, the whole issue of how the two Miraes are looking at their lives with such different opinions regarding fate and choice. It's really interestingly done, and I hope they keep going with that stuff because that's what makes the story stand out against others :)

YEH and LDG has such amazing chemistry.
Kdrama world has missed you LDG!!! 5 freakin years without you, how did we survive, i hope you dont take so long to choose your next project.
While i feel and am glad that YH's acting has improved, i sitll find myself puzzled and wondering what emotions he's trying to convey. Thank goodness he's playing a winsome character who's just awesome in all levels.
I HAAAAAAATE those girls who aegyo their way into everything like uuugggghhh so im glad we got to see depth in Han Chae Ah's character in ep 4. I love the actress so much so even if she was the one dimensional cookie cutter 2nd female lead type, i would still be able to tolerate her because Han Chae ah is freakin flawless!
