Just some Topp Dogg article so I have an excuse to rant

In the last 17 days, a teaser video has been released for the 13 membered idol boy group Topp Dogg, and it has been receiving soaring responses so far.

Even though Topp Dogg’s mixtapes and performances have already attracted a lot of attention in prior to their debut, if their hip hop management entertainment company, Stardom that has reborn into a new leaf, and their producer/representative, Cho PD, is able to bring out the effect of enjoyment in them, the debut of this new group will definitely be able to get the spotlight.

Focusing on these goals, for the Topp Dogg team’s exceptional debut, a fanpress showcase will be held on the 22nd, 2 days before the album release. The agency stated, “On the 22nd at 5 pm, we have invited the media for a press conference. At 7pm, the stage will be set for the fans so that they can communicate directly with their fans” he said.

Signed cds will also be provided as a special gift for the fans who will come to the showcase.

After the 1st teaser receiving a hot reaction, the agency has decided to change the original venue of the showcase which is at Jucy Club in Gangnam to the Hongdae V Hall to accommodate all the participants.

Topp Dogg’s debut album will be released on the 24th.

If you expect me to believe you've turned over a new leaf I demand a proper EvoL comeback after Topp Dogg's debut!!

But on to the article, I feel bad for the group that people are expecting them to fail just because Cho PD/Stardom screwed Block B over and insulted Exo. And (a bunch of) the members were underground rappers and joined a "hip hop management entertainment company", the hell kind of music do people expect them to make?

It's true, they don't deserve the hate, only Cho PD and stardom deserve it.
I will only judge the group once I heard their music and saw them talking on interviews etc ...

I hope they do well. From the teaser though, it sounds like it's another Block B, which is the type of music I'm not really into tbh - but that was just a teaser. Maybe the full version will surprise me.

experience tells me no to believe in teasers, especially the ones from stardom, the tittle track song is always completely different from the teaser... they did with Block b and Evol's debut. But who knows maybe this time they didn't xD

There was a mini fanwar going on in the youtube comments on their MV teaser, idek what they were fighting about?? Most bbcs seem pretty excited (myself included!) but there are definitely a bunch of bitter fans who are saying Topp Dogg's being treated better than Block B ever was etc. Lol well duh it's not like Stardom can afford another lawsuit.

Looking at Stardom they do develop talented acts with a good product. It's just the management after debut that needs work. Hopefully Stardom has learnt from the mistakes of the past and Topp Dogg can succeed (and get paid!).

It is a worry that since Stardom was never that good at getting more than a few minutes of performance time on shows how is a 13 member group gonna get enough facetime to achieve any type of impact?

I feel so bad for them, people are hating on them and they haven't debuted yet... that group photo looks so crowded, too many people... but well
I hope they can success and ignore all the awful comments, I really really REALLY hope that ChoPD does it better this time, please man, I beg you T^T
and I'm patiently waiting for EvoL's comeback too, please I'm sure the girls have a lot to show too, they are talented and flawless <3 and they didn't get a showcase when debuted so please make them do an awesome comeback

I don't hate them, I feel sorry for them. I do have a genuine interest to see what they can do.
I may pass because there are too many of them and it's so hard for individual talents to shine.
