Vixx on Immortal Song 2

I don't think anyone has put up the performance from IS2, but I'm sure most of us have seen it or heard about it. So I decided to do a post. Ken's opening was amazing. I added SG Wanabe Kim Jin Ho performance because it was just too damn good to pass on and seeing Ravi's reaction and watching him be so into the performance and the tears. It was such a touching tribute, both performances. I just wanted to share them with everyone. Vixx did great even if they weren't winners that night, I think they earned new fans.

I love love love Vixx, but I'm always very critical of IS2 performances.
It was an ok performance. Ken showed that he's good, but he didn't show everything by far. N was shaky bawwww. There was a backing track, which made me go W T F. It really missed additional vocal power in the form of Leo. Really wish it had been a Ken/Leo(/Ravi) song.
I hope they get invited again to show what they really can do.

The backing track surprised and disappointed me too. I think that was the first time a backing track has been used so obviously on IS2. Besides that, it was a really good performance, but definitely not as good as others that have performed on IS2.

I was confused with the backtrack too. Since they have an actual band and even back up singers, how can they add a backtrack? So i thought oh, maybe it's just echo? Obviously, i dont know how sound engineering works. OTL.

It was obviously not an echo because N mussed up his lines at some points and was clearly relying on the backing track

same here. I understand if they allowed it to create an echo effect or an overlay of some kind, but this really was a vocal supporting backing track.
Maybe they were allowed because they were down one main vocal?

I bawl a lot during kim jinho performance,,,it totally give a big impact to me..no wonder ravi cried..i myself in a big mess of tears.. ;;;;;;;;;;

I love vixx's performance..like Ken really did an awesome job in the beginning part..
but then it's a dance stage, they seem kinda out of breath,,which make them so obvious of using backtrack..
the only dissapointment is the backtrack.. U_U
overall, I got so hooked up with the song
hopefully they got invited again and leo could perform with them

Overall it was ok. Ken's voice asdfsadfkj but like someone said above it didn't really show off as much as it couldve.

Jaehwannie's voice at the start ♥ I've replayed that one part sooooo many times!! I enjoyed the performance but that intro was spine-tinglingly beautiful. I want to hear him singing more stuff like that part.

Kim Jin Ho's performance was incredible. I don't know if there's another word to describe it. INCREDIBLE ㅠ.ㅠ
