Yang Hyunsuk interview regarding 'WIN' team results and disbandment + I.aM.mE Dance Crew is pissed

CEO Yang reported the following during his phone interview with a reporter on the 5th, “Keeping the promise that we made about the ‘WIN’ teams and how one of the two team’s victory depends 100% on viewer votes and solely on the viewers’ votes is the most important thing” and that “I announced during the first production press conference and on the first episode of the show that the winning team will debut immediately after the show is over and that the losing team will either disband or spend many more years training, however I (and YGE) think that a definite disbandment for the losing team is the better way to go once the winning team is separated away.”

CEO Yang Hyunsuk continued, “There is no doubt that both teams have gained much popularity, fame, and fans through this program, but because of that first promise we made with the public and people, and to follow the original guidelines and rules set forth on this show, the losing team will officially and immediately disband.”

Reports are stirring on SNS that YG Winner-Team B copied a choreography from I.aM.mE dance crew without asking permission. It started from a fan’s tweet asking the dance crew’s official twitter account if they have any affiliation with YG Entertainment.



Upon retweeting, member Brandon expressed his frustration through his personal twitter account and wrote, “I don’t understand why these Big Asian companies just don’t hire us to choreograph for their artist instead of steal* our stuff all the time!”



Another member Jaja also wrote a Facebook status.



Supporters of YG have argued that they did credit I.aM.mE Crew but the other party debated that they should’ve asked permission first.

i hope he realizes that the winning team will be gaining a lot of antis who want nothing more than the winning team to fail. if he was smart about this he would do a 2am/2pm concept. and lol im sorry but im so embarrass for team b. damn that must suck to be getting called out like that AND putting the company you train at in a possible legal matter.

It's not like they blindside the company with these issues. YGE puts the choreography group/dancer's name in the credits, so they're well aware and probably encourage what happens. If I remember correctly, neither team does original choreography. Stealing choreography is disgusting, but the blame lays with YGE, not the trainees.

That way Team B can go elsewhere to be an awesome group if they lose. Hopefully other companies will have watched them and will be waiting to swoop in and get the losing team.

And what's with all the choreography issues? I'm not an expert in the legal matters of what's supposed to be done but YG should probably have gotten permission from the respective original choreographers especially since these performances get televised.

I feel this will end up blowing up on YG's face like he probably plans on keeping B.I and Bobby as Team A will obviously win this competition (YG and PD of the show will make sure of it). But what if those two get a great offer from some other company after the show? I mean they might be so fed up with YG's antics that they'll take that offer, in which case YG would lose his two of the biggest future stars (I think those two will end up being a lot bigger stars than Team A ever).
