Yeah, I think team A was great. Based on everyone's comments I was expecting another cringefest like the YG vs. JYP battle, but I ended up liking Team A's song more than Team B's. I think Team B's dance was better, but it kind of frustrates me that dance is supposed to be such a big part of the decision. People don't buy songs because the singer is good at dancing, and there are plenty of YG artists who can't dance all that well (TOP, Bom) and yet they still manage to give a good performance.

Team A's performance was better, but Team B's dance was better. Unfortunately for Team B, their good dancing doesn't make up for their terrible vocals. BI and Bobby are the only stand out things about Team B right now. Team A is a much more well rounded team, and I think with some intensive "anti-stage fright" training they'll be really good. The only way to overcome that kind of nervousness though is just giving more and more performances so you get comfortable standing on stage and having people watch you.

i thought it was a bit ridiculous when she said that as a leader you're responsible if your group performs well when half of the time her and minzy overpower dara and bom and make them look like their backup dancers (see their performance at psy's concert)

Team B come off as a dance troupe with two rappers imo. Team A did pretty good but it seems like all YG wants from them is to swag them up or something.

I hope the next evaluation is lead by 2ne1 with Cl and Bom heading the teams. That would be interesting.

I replayed Bobby's rap at least 10 times, I was really digging it. I think Hanbin, Bobby, and Joonhwe would do great together.

I'm pleased to see Team B win because I definitely thought their performances were better than team A's. Both are so talented for trainees though, I'm impressed. (Also congrats to GD I suppose for finally beating Taeyang haha).

I was surprised that TOP voted for team A, as I had the impression that he loved Team B a lot more? That was a bit strange to me, though I really liked his detailed criticism. Bom's commentary was the cutest. Also lots of cute YG interaction, for example Bom picking GD heee.

I need to say though that this only confirmed my dislike for YG; the way he shaded TOP and Bom ugh. And 'because of Big Bang this company has made a lot of money' yeah ok thanks for confirming where your priorities lie.

At first I didn't like Team A's song, but after listening to it a couple more times I actually like the composition, and especially Mino's rapping.


I think my problem with Team A is that they just aren't hip hop enough. The vocalist's really aren't. Jinwoo is so vanilla/boring to me and Taehyun and KSY just seem more pop and rock-oriented respectively. Taehyun singing that Mika song just really made me see him completely differently, I can't get the image out of my head lol.

Though it could be a good thing, since YG doesn't really do much hip-hop anymore, but then Mino is such a legit rapper....ugh idk


Then you have Team B and they are just so generic. So I just don't see them being the future of YGE, the next Big Bang. nope.

why did TOP vote team A when he clearly loves team B?? hes such a softie. I just don't understand ppl who give pity votes.. how can you vote for a group to win just because you feel sorry for them when that's causing another group, who is working their asses off and is more ready, to lose? dont u feel pity for them then? makes no sense.

I think group B owned them in terms of dance, charisma and stage presence. Idk how to explain it but they give off that confidence on stage like they gave it their all and performed well even if they weren't perfect, while team A always seems doubtful like they're just /hoping/ they did well enough. I definitely have a problem with the vocals in team B though, they're so shaky and thin sounding but other than that they were perfect.

Bobby oh bobby how I love ur voice and rhythm, everything TOP said is mte, hes gonna be a great fucking rapper and imma need a TOP/Bobby collab for sure!!!

I think Team B have their strong points, but it's been bothering me how vocally they seem to mostly get graded on B.I and Bobby's performance rather than their group effort. I admit Junhwae stepped it for the battle, but how come no one says shit about members like Donghyuk or Yunhyeong? meanwhile Team A gets shredded to pieces if even one member is off!! but with these guys it's like they don't even exist to the judges????? the fuck is that about....it's almost like they're being allowed to ride on rest of members coat tails while Team A is being held to a totally different standard. Pretty unfair if you ask me.

I can understand to an extent why YG and co have higher expectations for A (more well known members, members that have had experience/already debuted and have more knowledge about perfs etc) but honestly they seem to think that Team A should be god level already and that's just not right, especially with how they constantly tear at the boys' self esteem and give inadequate training

I remain pressed that no one ever comments on the god awful vocals of Team B, I get it's not their strong point but ignoring it won't help them improve good god.

Team A I felt did better, but the main problem for most of them is that hip hop just really isn't their thing. Like I hate that YG is trying to mould them into swag monsters like Team B, can't he give them a different genre? It's not like it's not successful or new to YG either - Hayi is a primary example of how YG doesn't need a new hip hop group - just a solid boy group with nice music would do.

Team A needs to debut asap. Maybe I'm being biased because I've liked Mino and Seungyoon since before all this but Team A is definitely more talented and more suited for a debut. And omg can people stop with Team B and their ~stage presence~ because you'll need more than stage presence when you debut. Scratch that, they actually can live off stage presence only because that summarises CL's whole existence. Team B has awesome rapping but those vocals......

I wish both groups luck because whoever debuts is going to debut with a lot of antis and having to prove themselves over and over and over. instead of being sympathetic with both teams people have decided to make this a war and that war is not going to end for a while. i wonder if YG thought about the possibility of that happening.

and i like what YB said to team A and i agree with him tbh. This isn't their only chance in making their dreams come true. They are talented individuals and they can make it elsewhere just like Beast hyunseung did. I hope somewhere along the line they realize this and just have fun with the whole thing.

omg i cant with ppl actin like team a's vocals are miles ahead. its ksy vocals. taehyun and jinwho are just okay and pretty much at the same level as junhwe. its just that junhwe has much better charisma and stage presence than either of them. And was Junhwe the one who started off Team B's performance because I was still cringing through that just that it only got worse when the others started singing too. That was some EXO Two Moons rapping levels of horrific.

I'm just wondering... how many ppl riding on Team A right now will turn around & call A boring in the future.

A's just not clicking. There's something about their group dynamics that leads to them giving stale performances, despite obvious skill in rapping, singing & dancing (minus jinwoo, because he's the weakest link through and through, including visually).
Their "something's missing"-ness on stage is definitely NOT something that can be easily worked on imo. Several of the members want to lead & don't believe in Mino. To put it simply, A doesn't have the x-factor as a group.
