Kim Jae-joong, a member of the popular K-pop boy band JYJ, will hold a solo concert at a Japanese stadium next month, his management agency said Wednesday.

The concert set to be held at the 60,000-seat Yokohama Stadium in Yokohama, Japan, on Nov. 15-16 is part of his Asian tour concert to mark the upcoming release of his first solo full-length album, C-Jes Entertainment said.

Kim is set to start the tour with a Seoul concert on Nov. 2-3.

Kim enjoys huge popularity in Japan,” the company said. “We decided to hold the concert at a large-size performance hall as his Japanese fans have shown great interest at the news of the release of the first album.”

The 27-year-old singer last released a solo mini-album titled “MINE” in January and sold more than 200,000 copies. The new album is due in late October.

He previously put on a solo concert for a sold-out audience in Yokohama in June.

so my hatred of the person that decided this schedule is never ending.

i get to Tokyo on the 18th. At Junsu's show the other night, my bff and I were joking about how this would happen. Jae would either come to Sydney whilst we were in Japan OR he would do shows in Japan just before we got there or just after we left.

Pretty much everytime I go to Japan I get concert trolled.

Not possible to change flights is it? Cause it's such a waste to not go since you'll be missing the concert like only a few days?

Nah, if you wait until the day before you can still find people reselling tickets for pretty decent prices. That's how i got good tickets for Jae's last live in Yokohama without being part of the fanclub.

Every time I hear a DBSK song/see a post about the members, I get so mad at myself for not checking out kpop when I first heard about it. (Sighs)

October is going to kill me dead. I'm barely surviving Block B and Shinee, now BB and Jaejoong too? My ovaries are in danja,!

It's really funny to me that SM is still trying to block JYJ from music programs and things like that, when they can't touch these sorts of big revenue generators. If you look at what SM and the other agencies are hustling for, it's Japanese $$ and drama $$ (which are a lot more profitable than music shows lol) and album sales, all 3 of which JYJ gets in copious amounts. The only point of music shows and variety is to open up these opportunities... and get CFs, which I have no idea if JYJ gets since I'm not a fan.

So... what's the point? I suppose they're just trying to be dicks now.

JYJ does have some Korean CFs and they're doing a campaign for a clothing brand but but it would be nice if they could properly promote their music in SK aswell, and by that I don't mean just variety shows but it really makes me sad that Junsu for example can't get on Inkigayo or Music Bank to promote his album more because of something that happened four years ago...

But for SME giving up and allowing JYJ to promote freely would mean that idols can go against their company and get away with it (even though they weren't treated well) which is not something they want any idol to think. Your agency owns you basically...

Pretty much the most childish BS ever, and punishment. It's all about ego at the end of the day, especially considering the age hierarchy and their 'betrayal' of those who 'made' them. As if they didn't have natural talent to begin with.

Glad to know I'm not the only one. I had the money, the time, the health, and they freaking cancel for San Jose. SRSLY? Screwed the Vancouver crew too. Forever pressed tbh.

*hugs* I'm sorry that it was cancelled. I understand how you felt. It happened to me once for DBSK Shenzhen concert. They cancelled last minute and I've already made all arrangement - bought air ticket, pay for hotel and etc T_T Still flew over there with my friends though. Chinese fans were real nice and it's amazing how all the Chinese fanclubs were still having stores to sell their goods the day before and on the day the concert was supposed to be held though there is no concert.
