I swear, no one can disappoint you more than your own.
I was supposed to move in to my grandparent's next week, as I started college in the town they live in, and they were the ones who invited me (!!), and today I get a message from them basically saying 'we don't want you. you'll be a burden and we don't wanna take care of you'. I'm not a child for god sake's, I don't need them to change my diapers. I was supposed to take a small room in their BIG apartment and I would even pay my share (don't even get me started on that one). I wasn't too thrilled to live with them, as they are very negative and, pardon my language, shitheads. And they just proved themselves once again.
I don't know why I even expected something from them knowing them so well.

But instead of this turning to a complete train wreck, instead I'll be moving in with one of my BFFs and another friend. And it all played out in like 10 min after telling her about my situation lol.

Plus, I decided on a theme for my presentation, if anyone remembers me from the last FFA. I'll be talking about Heroins of World War II. I got positive reaction about it from my friends and I'm feeling great about it. Can't wait to present it in 2 weeks :D

Heyo omona, look at me procrastinating my studying for my (first) midterms!

So I'm basically swamped in television seeing as they're all coming back around now. Elementary was so freaking good (despite the blatant fatphobia... not sure if this is intentional or not yet). I tried Sleepy Hollow and was pleasantly surprised. I also broke into Downton Abbey and Breaking Bad. Waiting for TVD, Originals, and SPN.

TV + midterms = no sleep.

I finally caved and started watching Breaking Bad since AMC is marathoning all the episodes! I'm only 10 episodes in (season 2, ep 3), but I totally get the hype now. The story! The actors! They're all so good! ;__; I really wish I'd hopped on the bandwagon sooner though because I won't be able to catch up in time to watch the finale with everyone else.

It's gonna be my first time in NYC as an adult, for OGS. I still haven't booked a flight, or room. I'm scared of coming up off that amount of money. The irony in putting it off, though. I be dumb.

Anyway, what I'm looking forward to, more than Jongie, is the food. Any recs? I stay on Serious Eats, but they have hundreds. I can't. I'd like to try something I can't really get elsewhere, like Uzbekh cuisine, or something. ^^

The past few days have been a total disaster in my fandom (at least Kfandom, intl is whole another issue). gahhhhhhh. i'm not even upset at the fact that woobin is dating, in fact I don't think really anyone is, it's just the whole instagram thing that proves he's been giving all his gifts from fans to his gf who's been taking pictures of her wearing/using them. i even get the whole giving away gifts to your sig other part, but why... flaunt it?? she's also been deleting certain, selective comments on her instagram that ask her why she's doing this to make it look like fans are just hating on her for dating woobin... it seems just so childish and I don't even understand why they're acting like that. it just seems so different from kim woobin i've seen over the past few months and i'm mostly confused...

it's like both with L and Woobin, we don't give a damn if they date you know? But the fans would rather not know about every single detail of their love lives or be used as a tool to make up when they fight or something. also i'm more ticked off that the fans are getting pitied or laughed at for their oppa's screw ups, like we're not upset about them dating, it's the other issues, now shut up jesus fucking christ.

and biggest of all is that now on the Korean Internet Woobin has been nicknamed Kim Balmain and is being laughed at and I'm soooooo pissed he caused this himself. Like, you don't need this whole cheapskate look thing when you're about to start a new drama. You're still a freaking rookie ughhhhh.

I've had a greyhound in the psst, and they are wonderful dogs. However, they do need a bit of upkeep with their body condition (we were told to only give lamb and rice food, makes sure he doesn't run around after eating, put a coat on him when it gets cold, etc) and good space to run around.

So I went on a job interview Thursday, and before I was even home they called to offer me the job! I don't know if that means they'd take anyone or they thought I was that awesome, but I'm hoping it's the latter. Also, I was SUPER proud of myself that instead of jumping right at the offer, I asked for some time to think about it, which made them worried I might not accept and so the recruiter is trying to get me an extra $1/hour! I really hope the increase is approved with the company because it's a lot closer to my ideal salary.

Yay for being employed again and being able to move out of my parent's house (again) and be on my own (again)!!!

I've been watching Secret Garden again! I only opened it up to make pretty gifs for jongsuk in red scarf but he was so pretty I had to watch every single episode...

also my roommate thought for the past few weeks that my cell phone picture was of a very pretty girl when it was actually jongsuk... she was starting to wander if i were bi or something.

Ugh i had the worst day.

We worked with a new model agency for the first time in forever and it was just a disaster.
We had a marathon photoshoot so we knew it was going to be tiring but we were not prepared.

The guy from the agency that brought the models over was the rudest fuck ever.
He brought about 10 girls (most of them extremely new to the job). Two of them didn't speak any of the languages i can communicate in ( i have no idea how they communicate with him) and he was just an ass.

But as the day was going by he went completely over the top and started yelling at them and shoving them around. Some of them were on the verge of tears, so my boss approached him and basically told him "dude you need to chill, this is no way to treat your employees". And the guy lost it, he started yelling at my boss too, saying he's leaving etc and started shoving the girls out the door, still wearing the photoshoot clothes!

Worst part was that one of the girls was left behind cause she was in h&m at that moment and of course she was one of the two girls that couldn't communicate with us in any language!

And if that wasn't enough after calling the agency and the people we were shooting for, we had to wait for 2 hours while new models came by cause we absolutely had to finish up today!

I am beyond exhausted and i felt so bad for those girls, my god i wanted to slap him so much, and i'm usually not a violent person!

(oh my this turned out extremely long but i was in need of a rant)

I'm sooo excited for Block B!! I'm really proud not just that they persevered, but that they stayed together through the whole thing. In stressful situations like that it's easy for fights/problems to start, but they held it together. ZICO is definitely a fighter~

I hope everything is smooth sailing for them from now on. They've already dealt with so much they deserve a break.
