Jay Park Announces New Label, AOMG

Jay Park is continuing to grow and branch out as he takes on the challenge of establishing an independent label, ‘AOMG’.
This doesn’t mean he’s leaving SidusHQ (iHQ). He’ll still be managed by them but at the same time, he’ll be branching into various areas of music as well as helping uncover the talents of hoobaes through hip hop label ‘AOMG’, which stands for ‘Above Ordinary Music Group’.
Aside from Jay, ‘AOMG’ is currently made up of Jun Goon, who has participated in albums of well-known names like Wheesung and Taeyang, as well as Gray, who has featured in the songs of hip hop names like Zion.T and Swings. Another key player in the new label is Cha Cha Malone of Jay’s dance crew AOM, who has worked on several songs with Jay.
In addition to his activities as part of ‘AOMG’, Jay is also working on reaching out to fans through an upcoming nation-wide tour, so fans have a lot to look forward to in the coming months!
Q: I heard that you made a label while you're busy with tour in Europe and Asia.
It's like a crew, gathering of hip hop artists. I don't like to be said Jay Park is a representative/leader or something like that.
It's not raising someone, just for enjoying music all together. I made the label hoping that the unknown talented artists can be in the spotlight.
some of you may be saying that Jay's in over his head but really, AOMG isn't much more than putting a name on the collaborations he's been doing for the past couple of years.
Q: How's it going on with the company you've been contracting with?
After the contract for 3 years had expired, I thought it over for a while.
I wanted to make something upon my name and hopefully, they accepted most of my opinions.
I told them I wanted to make a label and they told me it was no problem, and promised to be together like before.
