More from “The Heirs“! SBS has opened theofficial website for its forthcoming drama and posted character posters for its star-studded cast.

“The Heirs” is under the helm of “Tazza” and “Midas” director Kang Shin Hyo, and written by Kim Eun Sook who did “Lovers in Paris,” “Secret Garden” and “A Gentleman’s Dignity.” It is a rom-com that will center on the love and friendship of high school students from the top 0.1% of society.

Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye lead the drama, with  Kim Woo Bin, Choi Jin Hyuk, f(x)’s Krystal, ZE:A’s Park Hyung Sik, Kang Ha Neul, CNBlue‘s Kang Min Hyuk, Im Joo Eun, Kim Sung Ryung, Jun Soo Jin, and Kim Ji Won rounding out the main cast.

Park Shin Hye plays the role of Cha Eun Sang, who did not inherit wealth but poverty. Which of course means in the drama world that she is a plucky young woman who receives the love of all the rich men around her.

Lee Min Ho plays the role of Kim Tan, the heir to the Empire conglomerate and was born with everything, including a tragic back-story.

Kim Woo Bin plays an heir to the Welcome Resort, Choi Young Do, who possesses a cold charisma.

Kang Min Hyuk plays the character of Yoon Chan Young, who is described as someone with a soft charisma.

Kim Ji Won plays the character of Yoo Ra Hael, a chaebol heiress.

Krystal plays the role of Lee Bo Na, heiress to an entertainment company.

Choi Jin Hyuk plays the role of Kim Won, half-brother to Kim Tan and current head of the Empire conglomerate.

Let me fill in the blanks:

Kang Ha Neul- Secretary to Kim Won, could be either a) a little air-headed but loyal to the end or b) secretly working with the Rebel Alliance to try to bring down Empire from the inside.

Park Hyung Sik- Zany teacher (probably teaches art, music or drama) who believes the kids can be better than they are and who the kids all think of as a bit of a joke. Kids will go to him for sage advice and he will probably help them become better people in the end. May seem poor but will actually be the richest of them all. May bail out Empire when the Rebel Alliance attack.

Kim Sung Ryung- badass bitch teacher with a snooty attitude who has a problem with Povvo Protagonist girl because she's poor. May reluctantly end up agreeing to help Povvo Protagonist at some point because PP gets the better of her or, if they're REALLY trying to push the boat out here, because she sees a spark of herself in Povvo Protagonist. Either that or she's someone's bitch mum.

Im Joo Eun- Wants a rich husband. Inexplicably attracted to Zany Teacher (who she thinks is Povvo). edit: If Kim Sung Ryung is bitch mother, then Im Joo Eun takes over as bitch, snooty teacher (husband-hunting still applicable).

Jun Soo Jin- Seems all nice and supportive until BOOM PLOT TWIST. She is actually queen of the Rebel Alliance.

I'm hoping it'll at least be in the 15-19% bracket depending on what it's up against. We'll have to see if the writing itself is good though, since they have a really good cast. I still can't believe BOF got 30%.
