Taeyeon in Nature Republic's New CFs

Nature Republic, fresh off of announcing Taeyeon as their new model several weeks ago, has released a set of new commercials featuring the Girls’ Generation member for their “Argan” line of products. The advertisements come in a variety of lengths, including a longer four-minute mini-documentary in addition to 30-second and 60-second commercials.

In the mini-documentary, Taeyeon narrates footage that highlights the natural origins and ingredients of Nature Republic’s “Argan” products.

In the the shorter commercial clips, Taeyeon can be seen posing with the product before she again narrates over several short clips that present the product’s natural roots.

She had A Solution back in 2011 and B-ing this year :) though for the latter, she's only had the fanmeet and cf shooting while the cf hasn't been released.

Solo cfs are usually cosmetics so you're only allowed to be signed to one brand at a time. I think people were saying that her contract with A Solution never ended and they just didnt release new stuff. Therefore, she was stuck in that contract with them until it expired? Which doesn't make sense either cuz now she's with B-ing and Nature Republic which are both cosmetics but in different countries.

I guess she makes up for the lack of cfs with osts lol

nah, you can be signed to more than one cosmetic brand as long it is not super exclusive, i know this because suzy is always endorsing two different types of cosmetic brands at the same time XD.

Lol yea then I really don't know why. Perhaps Korea enjoys her more for her singing and personality, hence the popularity, but visually Yoona appeals more?

Taeyeon's contract with A Solution was an exclusive contract that was for a couple years. Apparently the amount that they had to pay her to shoot new ads/commercials wasn't set in the contract, so when Soshi got more popular SM asked for a higher fee. A Solution couldn't afford to pay the new price, but Taeyeon was still stuck in the exclusive contract.

she looks gorgeous here, but i think other korean brands in the market have spoilt me with their cute packaging so much that i can't bring myself to buy nature republic's products because they look boring af.

My favourite Korean brand is "Innisfree" and a lot of people say that their packaging looks "boring". I've tried products from "Etude House" and "Holika Holika" too (they have "cute packaging", right?), but their products do nothing for my skin.

So to be honest, if a product does its job then I couldn't care less about the packaging.

Maybe it's a taste thing? Idek Nature Republic recently came out here and tbh I'm liking its packaging much better than say, Etude House and Tony Moly. The whole organic handdrawn look gets to me lol
