IU, October comeback confirmed "Selected the title song and is now practicing the dance"
IU's October comeback has been confirmed.
On the 10th, IU's company, Loen Entertainment, has reported "IU will release her new album on October 7th and is planning to have a comeback. We are pretty sure that her comeback will be on the 7th but there might be a little adjustment on the actual date. At the earliest it will be released on the 2nd but at the latest it will be released on the 7th."
For a year and 4 months, after releasing the album "Spring of a Twenty Year Old" last May, there was no sign of IU in the music industry. During this period she had appeared on a couple of variety shows and also had acted in the drama "YTBLSS". Although IU had worked on her album throughout this period, she was unable to complete it due to her hectic schedule, thus delaying her comeback to October.
A representative has stated, "The title song has been selected and now we're working on the finishing touches. It's not a ballad or something sexy. Through this new album, rather than seeing IU's cute little sister-like image, you will be able to see a more mature side of her. Currently, IU is working on the choreography and trying to take care of her health."
Loen is planning a showcase and various other events for her upcoming album.
Additionally, IU is considering having another solo concert through her upcoming album, however nothing has been confirmed.
