Yang Hyun Suk praises, “CL’s beauty & musicality are on the rise”
Yang Hyun Suk has made favourable comments on (his) company’s singer, CL.
Representative Yang Hyun Suk of YG Entertainment, met with reporters at an undisclosed location at Banggi-dong, Songpa-gu, Seoul, where he spoke favourable of CL, who is just 22 years old this year, and her beauty and musicality. He said, “there seems to be this age for each person when they ‘rise’ and it seems like that’s the case for Chaerin(CL) (now)”.
Yang Hyun Suk praised CL by saying, “CL’s currently 22 years old, (that’s) not even half my age. It seems like she’s (just) ‘on the rise’”
CL had just released her first single, ‘The Baddest Female’ earlier on this year on 28 July. On CL’s performance on the music streaming sites’ charts and the rather lukewarm response, Yang Hyun Suk says, “I think it’s good when my company’s artists are disappointed. That’s because it means that there is more that they’ll be able to show in the future”.
He adds, “although CL’s score on the music streaming sites was lower than expected
2NE1, which CL is a part of, has been receiving great love from the public for their single, Do You Love Me, which was released on 7 August.
