Listening from the actual songs (the right pitch). I like Shake The World, Runaway & Crooked. That Zion T collabo is something...I don't hate it, but i wasn't mind blown by it either.

Solo Niliria imo shouldn't have been included as a title track. I prefer Shake The World.

I'm satisfied with his album tbh. Its not as cohesive as Heartbreaker where it tells a story from start to end but its okay.

Part One > Part Two, for what it's worth. I think it's because there are more featurings in Part One, GDragon just doesn't know what do with his voice when he's the only one on a track. In the first track he sounds like Taeyang, in Runaway he sounds like Zion T...

Speaking of Zion T though, OMG, I Love It is the tortured-love-song I was hoping for, and more! ^___^ Very happy with this track and the Lydia Paek duet. I knew those Big Bang crowns were in Zion T's Babay MV for a reason.

I wasn't impressed by this album. Production wise it's excellent, but everything else is meh. Maybe if someone else sang/rapped the songs it would be better. But whatever, GD's gonna make a lot of money so good for him.

You Do and R.O.D(minus the dubstep) are the only songs I kind of like.

Now, bring on Youngbae. I'm very interested in what he's going to do. And bring on the rest of BB too.

that's how i feel about most of his solo work, lol. every now and then he'll strike GOLD but everything else just lacks because he just doesnt have the vocal ability to carry a song through.

Shake the world has a similar sound to the Baddest female (the part were CL sings "You want it, come and get it now, if you don’t wanna, that’s too bad" around 1:07)

It's an ok song though (despite the lyrics)

The runaway is fun

Overall the second part is "ok" and superior to the first song but this is still disappointed.

Also the MJ, let's say "hommage", is poorly done

After listening to them of I like Shake the World, Crooked, & You Do (Outro) the most out of this half of the album. I already liked Michigo when it 1st came out.

I actually kinda like the song with Zion T, but I could see how GD's voice on it would turn some off.

I've listened to Part 1 several times and it's starting to grow on me. Production is very good especially the Boys Noize track (Alex can do no wrong though). The album's not as bad as I thought it would be although One Of A Kind and Heartbreaker are so much better. GD needs to take a break cos his music is suffering. MichiGo is still a pile of shit.

i can appreciate gd's attempt at different sounds. the production is topnotch. don't really have that much expectations on how gd should/would sound like, so i don't really have that much of a problem with his singing/rapping. but there are times that i do feel like gd is out of his element which is not necessarily a bad thing.

Everyone should listen to non-pitched versions as there is a huge difference in sound.

Anyhow, surprisingly I like more GD's version of Niliria than Missy Elliot one as it somehow feels more coherent with only his voice. Crooked and Shake The world are stand out tracks. I'm also enjoying Runaway. You Do (Outro) sounds like an Interpol song I kept waiting Paul Banks to start singing. :-\ I Love It is weird track, not sure if I love it or hate it.

As a full album this is an ok release, but not as good as Heartbreaker that had no weak songs and was more coherent piece of work. Also I wish he had talked even more of some other serious issues than just love. Anyhow, I really want to hear Window 'cause how everyone, who has had opportunity to listen to physical album, is complimenting it.

Okay, listening to the album first time (not listening to the above tracks but the ones w/o the edited audio)

I really like Shake the World, sounds catchy, nice beat.
Second time listening to Crooked (after watching the MV) I like it. Not sure if I prefer it to coup d'etat but it has a good sound which will probably grow on me on further listens.
GD's version of Niliria isn't as good as the one with Missy Elliot, it's not bad but I prefer her feature than GD on the entire thing. His rapping sounds really good though.
I looooove Runaway. Actually think it should have been a title song, it sounds rlly good. I have a feeling Runaway is going to be my fave song from the album.
Not really feeling the song with Zion T and Boyz Noize but it's okay. Hoping it will grow on me. It has a decent beat.
You Do is okay... probably my least fave.

Overall this album has enough good tracks to balance out the mediocre ones. (Although I'll probably end up liking those in the end too...)

Comparing it to Heartbreaker is difficult because although I liked Heartbreaker I don't listen to the songs from it anymore, but I feel like this album will have a longer lasting thing going on.

I'd give it a 7.5/8 out of 10. I kinda love it.

Just listened to the none voice changed of the songs and I really like Part 2. I like it a lot better than Part 1 and he tried some different music influences from some electronic, some trap and some punk rock which I really liked. And his whiny vocals sounds better in punk rock than when he's ties R&Bish songs. Overall this half at least is better than Ooak. In particular I'm loving Shake The World, I Love It and You Do. Haven't heard Go since I couldn't fine a regular voice non-edited version of it.

So far, I like "You Do," "Runaway," and "Crooked" best. I'm a little disappointed that there isn't a song similar to "Baby Goodnight" or "That XX," because I like that GD the best. I think I like "I Love It," but I can't help but think that if this was a TOP song with one verse from GD it would have worked a lot better.

Missy is much better at rapping but GD solo version of Niliria makes the melody sound better - like you can appreciate and focus on the melody more than the rap more.

My favorite from Part I is R.O.D., Lydia's chorus has been stuck in my head for days. I liked Crooked but wasn't that impressed by the MV. Found it funny that I entered Omona expecting more wank and found surprisingly decent comments.

Got me thinking, maybe we expect a lot more from GD hence the harsher criticism because I listen to other idols' songs and they're not any better as "rehashed, trite songs copied from Western music" as they criticize GD for.

Having finally listened to the whole album, wow, I really really love it. The variety is great -- I love all the genres GD covers. My faves are Coup D'Etat (just love it, more more more of this), ROD, Black, Shake the World, and Niliria, both versions, because you get a different experience with each. And oddly enough, MichiGo, which I sort of dismissed when it was released as a single as being too similar to Crayon, really works for me in context with the rest of the album, and I'm starting to dig it.

I don't know how this album will hold up in the long term compared to Heartbreaker, but right now I'm listening to the whole album and enjoying all of it, so much more than OOAK. I can't wait to see GD's live performances coming up, because he always takes it to another level. Yay GD! Really happy with this album.
