Well, it can hardly be called a remake when all he did was record English lyrics over Big Bang Taeyang’s “Sinner” beat. It’s karaoke if you will. Drew Ryan Scott wrote a song called “Dating Game” and used the “Sinner” beat behind it.
The lyrics for the English song take a definite plummet in quality. Drew, from new LA based boyband Varsity Fanclub, probably acquired the song from the original composer Gabe Lopez, who works with Red Queen Media, composed the Taeyang song, and also worked with Varsity Fanclub on their debut album. Compare the versions below and check out the difference in lyrical style.
