BtoB’s Lim Hyunsik composes for the new album, “Composer Idol” is born
This upcoming September 9th, BTOB is releasing their newest album where 2 songs '별(Star)' and '왜이래(Why)' which were self-composed by member Lim Hyunsik are also included.
In the evening of September 1st, the audio teaser of the 6th track ‘별(Star)’ in their 3rd Mini-album was revealed through BTOB’s official Youtube channel. The track’s lyrics and composition were made by Lim Hyunsik. The partly reveal received a hot reaction from fans local and abroad.
Lee Kikwang also participated in the composition of ‘왜이래(Why)’ and showing a different charm through the song ‘별(Star)’, the reveal of Lim Hyunsik’s work is anticipated. So far, presenting his own musical direction through the roaring piece of work, a new ‘Composer Idol’ is born into the lineage of composing idols and has received plenty of attention.
Beforehand, Beast’s Lee Kikwang participated together in the composition providing firm support to the song ‘왜이래(Why)’ subsequently ‘별(Star)’ Hyunsik constantly did his compositional work for a long time, and the reveal which is very much anticipated.
Lim Hyunsik’s self-composed song ‘별(Star)’ is pure and its animated motive hooked with a lyrical melody. Through the ballad song, you can feel its sincere, overflowing impressive lyrics which is drenched by the appealing BTOB’s vocal charm.
With the new album’s title song ‘Thriller’, which has not yet been revealed, expectations for BTOB’s comeback are increasing little by little.

In fact, I'd say they're pretty average compared to other 2012 rookies like BTOB, BAP, VIXX or C-Clown. They've improved a lot but performance-wise they still lack something imho. I even grew tired of Growl and I used to love it.
