DARA SAYS, “DATING BAN LIFTED BUT NOTHING’S CHANGED”

[OSEN=권지영 기자] 2NE1′s member BOM and DARA drew attention by saying that the “dating ban has been lifted.”

While filming Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook on KBS 2TV, 2NE1′s two members BOM and DARA said, “the dating ban at the agency has been lifted, but nothing’s changed.” DARA continued, “Boss Yang Hyun Suk told us to show him my future boyfriend. He said he would kill him. I don’t know if he actually wants us to date or not,” making everyone in the studio laugh.

To this, Yoo Hee Yeol commented, “I think Yang Hyun Suk feels like he is your father, thinking of you as his daughters. Your person is somewhere near you, don’t look too far for him.” The members burst into laughter when he sang a line ‘You only look too far’ from ‘Doll’s Dream’ by Love Holic.

DARA also said, “If I could get a chance, I would like to create an acoustic album that would give me the nickname ‘Goddess of Hongdae’.” She then brought out her guitar to play 2NE1′s ‘Lonely’ for the first time in front of the audience.

It is said that the audience was simply mesmerized by DARA’s unexpected and new charm of playing the soft guitar, since the group is known for their powerful charisma.

Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook, which will also show other artists like Park Hakki, MR.MR., and Coyote, will be aired on August 30 at 12:20 a.m.

A really reliable source told me that one of TOP's rumored gf's was a legit relationship, and this was a long time ago. So, I'm pretty sure that they've always been able to date, just not go public. Also, everyone and their mother's on my tlist think that CL had a bf until recently, but like someone said before me, one thing is dating and another thing is going to the media with it while it's happening. I seriously doubt 2ne1 hasn't dated anyone in these 4+ years.

I don't know why they're always talking about the dating ban...I don't believe a word of it. pretty sure CL is seeing someone now. Dara and Bom probably are/have been dating too. This said, I find it offensive that the girls are asked about that SO MUCH while BIG BANG or other boys groups doesn't seem to have a ban (Seungri is writing an album about his ex, and keep talking about it, right?). In reality, everyone dates in secret and don't go public but sigh why would it be more important to girls ?

Honestly they should have just ignored whole dating ban and dated secretly* since their debut. Especially as dating ban isn't even written in their official contract and is against FTC rules. I still remember SeungRi being all shocked that 2NE1 members were actually taking seriously such a ban.

That's caz they are probably lying. Seungri kept talking about "that guy" to Dara on BBTV (I think during the Tonight comeback) and she was all nervous. 2NE1TV season 3 (ep1 i think_ Bom visited a friend and was like she goes to that friend when she discusses boy problems. What boy troubles would she have if she wasn't dating someone?

I've pretty much never believed this whole we're not dating thing. It's just a way to cover the fact they most likely are dating.

I wish they'd spill already. Big Bang in comparison are a lot more open about the fact that they are dating (though the who remains unknown of course). Maybe it's more accepted for guy groups than for girl groups to date. I would not be surprised in the least.
