I think its more of "Congratulations that performance wasn't a mess" rather than performing with GD . . .cause lbr people's expectation with GD's recent sound isn't sky high. And most people are curious rather than excited for this collab.
missy elliot was literally the best thing for me at kcon. everything else sucked about kcon speaking as an exhibitor. also fucking cj company or whatever gave away our tickets to friends and family and my $90 tix was literally behind the stage. fuck kcon
My goodness. Missy Elliot was slaying everyone before we were all even born - and yet she's so humble as to not take the congratulations with an insult. So many points for her ;_;
I tweeted her that she still had it and I couldn't wait for her new album to drop and she responded with ((hugs)). She is so sweet. That stage was killah. I never knew that I wanted a GD & Missy collabo until now.
A couple years back, I made a Tumblr post about Korean/Western collabs I wanted, and dis was one. Gifs and everything. That was back when I thought GD was weird in a cool way, and not a tryhard.
I didn't like how it seemed Missy was essentially billed as GD's hype man, but she and her dance crew basically stole the show IMHO. I love Missy Elliott b/c she basically made it ok to be the weird girl in hip-hop; her videos were always trippy as fuck. GD should be honored to even wank off in her shadow.
But it seems like she had a great time onstage, so alright :D
you can say a lot of things about gd but posts about him are never boring eh. I have a feeling he'd be pleased with that (even if the majority is negative)
Missy's such a down to earth person. She does her best to keep up, and respond, to a LOT of her fans tweets. I wish she would put out another album, I wonder why she just stopped everything.
There is a picture of her eating with GD and he looks like a little kid. It's hilarious how happy he looks.
glad to see they enjoyed performing and even hanging out together! I only know a couple of songs by her but she seems like a cute and nice person. I bet GD was happy throughout, bless <3
