Date: 2013-08-26 05:52 am (UTC)Tbh, I've been feeling the same way. I like CL but I went from 'I c u girl" to going back and forth with her. It's just...something. Like she knows 2NE1 doesn't have that pull to make it so she's making that exit route which is good for her self-preservation/career but also nagl either - like she's ready to pull that parachute despite her bandmants and her love for them. That and it seems she has this attitude bc of her American/intl celebrity hookups co-signing her so sometimes she comes off as literally buying her "bad bitch" persona. For me, as an American, she doesn't really do anything diff than what I've been seeing other artists do here so I see her as nothing special. It's good to have confidence but sometimes it's like alright Gizzabe, we got it, you love your new weave and found your Ri-fashion niche. Idk, its like she battles between being sweet and genuine to getting high off her own ego.
There's a difference with performing and out performing your members and making them look like your backup singers. This dynamic is pretty common with musical groups though.
