I'm sure I'm missing something, but there's something uncool/sad to me about the "kids"' ignorance about vegetables and animals and stuff. I wanted to tell Solbi to shut up about a half dozen times. Do people not garden in Seoul?

I really doubt they've grown anything like that giant field of chilies in Seoul. Seoul's 233.7 sq miles big and has a population of 10.58 million (as of 2011), it's almost twice as dense as New York City. There's just not the same kind of space. If the kids (like Solbi) have been born/raised/grew up in Seoul all their lives, I don't wonder at how little they know about stuff like that.

It's not that exactly - it's the fact that she couldn't identify this stuff as it grew though ostensibly she's grown up eating it. And they run around screaming like the goats and the chickens are going to tear their limbs off.

My respect for Eunyeong kinda dropped after the goofy screaming over chickens part. Seriously? Her mom was badass though. The snail part was pretty funny. My favorite was when Jihoon wanted to marry Yeonghui after tasting the soup she made because Eunyeong's reaction was hilarious.

I felt bad for Jihoon's mom especially since she had to film after leaving her parents. My mom lives far away and while she isn't elderly, I can totally relate to those feels.

I'm pretty sure Kyuhyun's mom would be on the show anyway but Yeongja showed that watermelon who's boss.

The mothers are fierce!!! I envy them, because they looked like they were having so much fun catching the chickens! If I was there I would just be one more daughter, screaming and trembling. -_-' And OMG, Kyuhyun looked so lost while all of that was happening, AHAHAHAHAHAH!
