Is this about Chanyeol? As far as I can tell (I only recently got into Exo), he speaks without thinking a lot- leading to him telling a girl he didn't like that her skirt was so short- and also ends up making some incredibly inappropriate "jokes" in the name of 'banter' in an attempt to make people laugh. He's getting better recently- this may have something to do with D.O.'s 'punishment headlocks' conditioning him :')

At the risk of sounding all "OppaDidn'tMeanIt", I think he's generally a pretty decent guy (after all, who doesn't make inappropriate jokes when around good friends?) He just has no filter...

One of the biggest issues people seem to have with him is that he's racist, based solely on his teasing Kai for being tan- but as soon as Kai told him to STFU, he hasn't said it since. Also he's always been incredibly forthright in his support for the Chinese members of Exo and I saw a gifset recently of him saying that seeing or hearing about racism genuinely upsets him and he thinks it's a serious concern. From that, I'm fairly sure his teasing Kai was just banter, I feel like he'd probably tease D.O. for being short too if it wouldn't earn him the headlock from hell from Demon Dark Side D.O.


If, however, you meant Henry, then I don't think anyone actually does hate him, because as far as I know, he's done nothing ever (publicly at least) to deserve any. Only13 arseholes just don't want him to claim to be a part of SuJu and so "hate" him on principle.

But seriously, I've not known Henry to do or say anything worthy of even a casual side-eye (unlike the full on internet stink-eyes I have been forced to give out to many a "fully-fledged" SuJu member). I cannot believe these awful people could hate him so much.

I really wish more of Super Junior members would show Zhoumi and Henry some solidarity, they're grown ass men now and I wish they'd act more like it.

Even Exo members bitch out and tell "fans" to if they show any discrimination towards the Chinese members and Exo's maknae is freaking 11 years younger than the oldest member of SJ... You'd think if a 19 y/o can do it, so can a 30 year old.

Sorry to butt in, but I don't think you can treat any discrimination against EXO's China line and against HenMi the same way. The situations in EXO and SJ are vastly different. All EXO members are full-fledged, official members regardless of their race. Unlike SJ, EXO don't have a situation where the company who employs them, the hand who basically feeds them, insist on keeping some members as sub-unit members and not fully integrate them into the group just because a loud segment of the group's fandom demands it. I don't think it's a question of age. (And I'm older than most of SJ so this isn't even Oppa Didn't Mean It, they're my dongsaengs, LOL.)
