It seems like each time a new song is released it is painstakingly ripped apart and challenged as being unoriginal or worse, plagiarized.
Music has been around since long before any of us were around, so it is only natural that as time goes on, there will be some similarities in terms of beats, melodies, or chord progressions.
With the release of their latest mini-album and new single "Badman," the members of B.A.P have been put under the microscope with many claiming that the song resembles Shinhwa's "We Can Get It On."
What's more, an older track, "No Mercy" has been brought back out and is also said to have copied the melody from Shinhwa's "Young Gunz."

A few additional points about the controversy.
B.A.P's "Badman" was composed and produced by Kang Jiwon and Kim Kibum. Kang Jiwon also worked with Shinhwa between 2006 and 2009.
Whether the similarities were intentional or not, fans on both sides of the argument, have been very civil (for the most part) and now that concerns have been raised, many are waiting for an official response from both TS Entertainment and the Shinhwa Company regarding the controversy.

1. [+189, -5] Voted this up. I'm a BAP fan but I listened to both songs and feel that the melodies are similar enough to not claim that it isn't plagiarism. There seem to be some young fans demanding that the post be taken down, but please ignore them. I heard that Eric self-composed this song and that it's one of Shinhwa's most favorite songs. I understand that Shinhwa's fans have every right to be angry about this. Our fanbase only found out about this now so we have nothing to say but we have sent TS an e-mail requesting for a clarification. We're sorry.
2. [+160, -10] Shinhwa fans shouldn't let them get off this easy. This is ridiculous and should be left to Shinhwa and Shinhwa Company to handle, not the fans.
3. [+139, -2] Makes me more upset because it's the song that Eric chose as his favorite.
4. [+30, -0] I'm more surprised that it's their second time and that both songs are their title tracks.
5. [+24, -1] I just sent TS an e-mail about this. Apologies to Shinhwa Changjo fans for concerning you with this. As a BAP fan, I definitely hear the similarities and recognize the issue as something to apologize for. I hope that the composers don't do this again. I'm mad as well so I can't imagine how much more Shinhwa Changjo fans are angry over this.

i... don't even know. badman and we can get it on sound ~kinda~ similar, i guess. either way i'm just glad that fans on both sides are remaining civil (for the most part; there's always that bad apple or two).

i'm glad both fandoms aren't being rude, and that b.a.p fans are being mature, but idk i don't think there's any reason for them to be apologizing, at least not yet.
