JYPE CONFIRMED 4D PRINCESS SUNMI'S SOLO DEBUT

After 3 years & 7 months of departure from the idol group – Wonder Girls, former member Sunmi (Mimi) will be making her return to the music scene.

According to a representative from JYP Entertainment, Sunmi will be returning as a solo singer this time round & will be making her first comeback appearance on August 22nd’s episode of “M!Countdown”.


In 2010, Sunmi had left the Wonder Girls to further pursue her education at the Dongguk University.

Since then, she had also been actively practicing at JYPE.

Producer Park Jin Young (JYP), whom had created the Wonder Girls, will be producing, choreographing & also the music video director for Sunmi’s comeback title track.

She's done a couple of musicals and she's also in The Night Before the Wedding (with Taecyeon although her role is much smaller than his) which comes out this year. I don't think they'd be doing the same style and I think Sunmi is probably a better live performer.

I've missed her so much and it's so great that she'll finally be getting back into the limelight. After practicing for so many years I'm sure she's improved and I have faith that it'll be fantastic!

I would be more excited if JYPE didn't suck at promoting their musical acts. Hopefully the song will catch on with shitty PR/promotion methods.
