Yoochun's Hardships Before Becoming a Singer

Micky Yoochun's (23) parents, when he was in the sixth grade, moved to the U.S. due to a job relocation. Yoochun spent six years of his life in the U.S. until he decided to return to Korea. Yoochun states, "At that time, during the first year there at the U.S., I was really lonely. I usually spent my days at school or at home. I had no friends at that time."

Yoochun's younger brother, Yoohwan, who was faster at learning English, made friends a lot more quickly than Yoochun.

Since he was at home so much, Yoochun spent most of his time listening to music. And from then on, he decided that when he grew up, he'd become a well-known singer. At the ripe age of 17, Yoochun headed back to Korea to fulfill his dream. He had considered going to Japan, but decided against it since he knew no Japanese, and also, he had left friends from the sixth grade back in Korea.

After arriving in Korea, Yoochun set his heart on learning Japanese. Hence, every single time he were to reply or talk, he talked in Japanese. Yoochun said, "Now that I think about it, it was probably a smarter idea to go to Japan first..."

Yoochun was asked before: "What would happen to you now if you didn't get in TVXQ and gave up on becoming a singer?" He replied, "I'm not too sure, because it has been my dream to become a singer since I was a child."

"What do you think of your life as a singer? Any regrets or hardships?" Yoochun replied to this one like this:
"The only hardship I face is getting out of bed early in the morning. It is really hard." (laughs)

Didn't SJ's Kibum, who also moved to the US around the same age as Yoochun also had an hard time in the States and was super lonely as well? I remember reading that somewhere. Then again maybe it was just some fan fic I read.

I always wonder if their American classmates ever found out that their old classmate became a huge star in Asia, lol.

yeah, kibum has talked about how he was really lonely for his 3-4 years in america :( i THINK he mentioned that that's a part of why he's so religious (i can't remember where this is from, but i positive he's said it) as well. and i remember on full house, he mentions his time in the US in the last episode when they're saying goodbye (?? idek at this point, i've watched too much to keep track -____-) and how grateful he was to have made friends or something along those lines.

CL is also fluent in french since her father/grandpa (i dont really remember =~=) use to take her traveling since her father/grandpa was like , this teacher or something?

God , I really need to go get my facts straight but i do know that CL is fluent in french as well. :DD She always puts me in awe.

She didn't talk about it chronologically so I got confused lol.
& Bom came to USA around middleschool or highschool and attended some college in Boston, then Berkley.
