It's almost finale week! I HATE CM. I CAN'T BELIEVE HIM. I AM SO ANGRY AFTER WATCHING THAT PREVIEW. He is practically using SH as his doll, this is why Safari turned against him. How can he do that to SH? And I am almost convinced that he's behind KM's murder. Gaaaahhh! The end does not justify the means CM!!!!

I actually don't know. I find it really weird because they blur knives out but they don't blur out guns. I don't understand their censorship laws.

Umm probably because gun violence is harder to censor out than knife violence, it makes killing seem idk easy.Gangstas typically use knives, steel baseball bats etc (From what I've gathered from different dramas and comments). Kids might be inspired to whip out/procure Baksa's kukri/curved dagger.Think of the children!!!

It's the same weirdness with Indian movies censoring cigarettes/cigars and digitally removing the smoke.

I finally decided to watch this and marathoned the episodes, short story shorter, I lost a considerable amount of sleep.

I really hope the ending is epic as I would want it to be and doesn't fall short after all the build up.

Edit: This is the first drama in awhile where I've completely watched every episode without fast forwarding or dropping after ep 8.

I hope so too. I don't want to later regret wasting my time making these posts. The build up has been really good and I hope we get an awesome ending (I don't want a happy one).

I also normally end up fast forwarding or just dropping dramas. I think I have only probably watched 3 dramas fully without fast forwarding.

While I don't want it to be happy either, I can't bear to see any characters die. The amount of times they've almost killed Soo off has really made me flip my laptop. But I do hope shi-hyun doesn't just escape some near epic death and walks off with the girl.
It would be interesting if he never leaves at all actually.

The last drama I remember actually completely finishing is like coffee prince. I want to say Bad Guy, but I really don't remember if I did or I didn't ff.

I think Soo will survive (or at least I am hoping he does), I mean he already survived these many times the writer couldn't possibly kill him now. Unless he goes all J.K. Rowling on us at the end (which again I am hoping he does not). I think it would be interesting if SH, SM, Safari, or Aunt dies.

IA. I think it will be very difficult for him to simply quit. Not only is living a normal cop life not the same but if Aunt and Soo end up surviving this, I don't think SH would easily hand them over to the police. He loves them and I know he would do anything to protect them.

The last drama I fully watched was Bridal Mask. Right now I am watching a myriad of dramas but I normally fast forward through a lot of it.

Either way I lubb you OP.Your posts gave me a chance to discuss the drama, I have been avoiding similar review/recap sites simply to escape the Baksa Adeul fangirls.I get the attraction, but beyond a point he's as pivotal a character as say, Safari.

In your final megapost, could you please put in links to all the previous posts/threads you created?Will be easier to look up past discussions and what not.

Warning, spoilers all over the place;;;

1) I AM SO DONE WITH CM. Gahhhhh, I'm pretty sure it's either CM himself or his driver friend (this what I inferred from the preview translation) that are behind KM's murder and that's why it was a police sniper (of course that would mean that his driver friend is also an undercover police also maybe being used by CM).

2) Soo-min is stupid, the end.

3) I knewww there was more to story with Safari, especially after that one episode where they met at CM's house. It just seemed off the way Safari accused him. And then he didn't kill CM even though he totally could have

4) Also was I imagining things during the Jin-sook/Safari scene in 18 (I believe??) but it felt like Jin-sook seemed almost guilty towards Shi-hyun. She just seems so devoted to him and I don't understand it. This is a stretch *because we kinda already know the reason) but maybe she's the one actually responsible for Shi-hyun's mother's death??

5) Also after that last episode I'm shipping Jin-sook unnie and Soo like Fedex. Please survive these last two episodes ;;;;

GAHHH, can't wait for next week!! But I'm going to miss this drama so much T__T

I think CM is behind the driver. I absolutely despise CM now, I really wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt but his confrontation with Safari really cemented my hate for him. I hope karma bites his ass hard.

Lol. She was getting smarter and then then the writer totally dropped the ball on her again.

Can I just say how much of a coward CM is? Shooting someone in the back, especially after they decided not to kill you. I hate him. Safari is so sweet though, especially when he was telling CM about SH at the river. I hope there isn't a sad ending for SH and Safari.

Marathoners, could some of you please fact check something for me, since the episodes details are fresh in your memories?Who among the police force was absent during Kyung Mi's assassination?The sniper used a police issue rifle(?), and everybody has been emphasizing the fact. The haircut looked like the detective in Soo's pay, but it could also have been Soo.Or like woorijinki pointed out, it could also be the driver who has hots for Soo Min's chum.But the guy aiming at Soo Min on the rooftop has a different hairstyle.For all we know, Soo might be harbouring a grudge against Baksa for being on the receiving end of Hot Ahjumma's affection(highly doubtful tho).

Yay for Safari seeing through Min's game, and subtly warning off Baksa.

And did anyone notice how the Lady Assassin is the first one to enter the methlab and whip butts, followed by Meth Kimmie.

Somebody give the trainers a standing ovation, everybody looks really fit.Even judging by Nam Gyuri's posture, she's been hitting weights.

I don't think it is Soo's detective friend, he was pretty devastated about KM's death and seemed to really struggle with the fact that he was helping Soo at the time. But I don't know, I hope we find out next episode and not until the last one.

Eun-Soo is totally badass, I wish Soo Min had an ounce of her badassery.

I haven't even noticed that I am going to have to pay attention next episode.

1. SooMin's arc seems out of place now that Ji HyungMin's convinced Baksa didn't murder Gyungmi- especially since Hyungmin's wasted 2 eps trying to tell her he's wrong. BUT whatever her conclusions are, they are logical- and her confrontation on the terrace might get the truth out of Baksa .
Writers! Please tie up Gyungmi's shooting with the whole picture, and not let it be just a random sniper-out-to-kill-pretty-cops.

Something tells me Jo is going to get up and factor in the SM-Baksa-sniper faceoff..

2. I wonder why Min Hongki wants to keep his undercovers in the drug world. And how he fits in amongst the Ji-Cha-Jo triad.

3. Can't figure out whether Daddy Ji is corrupt or good guy playing along till he catches the baddies. He /seems/ to be steadfast and all, unlike that sneaky Cha.

4. Soo x Jinsook= <3 .I feel sorry for Safari samcheon, he genuinely loved her :( And Soo asking if there's something between her & Baksa= loaded question..

5. NEED MORE BAKSA x SOOMIN OTP!!

Because he is an ass...I think Min knows about the Ji-Cha-Jo triad and really wants to take them down no matter what the cost is. He seems to be one of those guys that think that because he has a good intention it justifies what he's doing.

I had never thought about the possibility, I just thought Daddy Ji was corrupt because he was helping the congressman and seemed ambitious but now that I think about it he did lose his son to drugs after all so maybe he is attempting to bring them down. I guess we'll have to find out, it is going to be really devastating to HM though if his dad does turn out to be actually bad.

I hope that if both of them survive something will develop between them. Soo and Jinsook make a really good couple.

Well, it /was/ Daddy Ji's idea to take Jo down and replace him with Safari/Baksa.. Except..he doesn't yet know Safari doesn't give a rat's ass about the police now (or he DOES after all). He might know Safari as a policeman back when he was with Yang.Maybe there is a hidden line between Safari and Ji for all these years.

His name is Yoon Hyun-Min and he is currently playing Kim Hyun Soo, he is the lead guy's best friend. I think he is fairly new since there isn't too much on him.

So far I think I would rate it about a 6-7? I really like the lead dude and most of the characters but it's like the writer spent all his energy on the lead guy and his friends yet he couldn't be bothered with the lead girl. She is like kjc48 described her...useless. I am really enjoying it though because everything is pretty gray in that there is no clear good or bad side. Both sides are pretty corrupted and that is what the leading man is struggling with.

Also, the initial fight scenes are good and except the lead girl the other female characters are pretty tough.Soo has the wackiest outfit combinations, boy should be an idol gangster.
