I have! It's kinda hot and bustling. It literally defines the word "bustle". I guess you can look at how Hyori's response is when she visits Thailand as a gauge on how Thailand is.
Oh and they're really quite dependent on the tourist economy, so everyone is out to get you scammed or just basically heckling you, like doe-eyed kids begging you to buy a little trinket off them, or taxi drivers that nonchalantly switch off the meter and ask you to pay in USD. It's quite O_O but they're genuinely nice and they really do keep smiling a lot.
And it's even more awesome if you visit during the King's birthday because everyone, literally everyone is wearing the King's birthday colour (yellow because he was born on a Monday) and streets are pretty much cleaned up due to VIPs coming to town. (if not traffic is terrible unless you take the subway)
Other than that..shopping is cheap, the culture is really colourful and the sex trade eye-opening (if you're into such stuff). It's really worth going but try going with your friends, I'm sure it'll be more fun than going with horrified parents lol
If I go to Thailand off of this ad, I better run into Khun and or a second best. Too bad there aren't any shots of this Thailgigolo doing his thang *wink- no not his mine.
I still hear it in my head everytime something funny, akward, or bad happens. LMAO I remember Goo Jun Pyo getting kicked or punched and the song playing XD
