Is there somewhere I can find a guy like Sooha to marry? Is there? They don't exist in real life do they ugh?
ANYWAY... I'm disappointed that Sooha doesn't trust Hyesung enough to tell her about his dad, but he has been disappointed by a lot of people he loved in his life eh.

This... I think Hyesung will not hate on him if she ever knew about it, but I think she'll be disappointed because Sooha seems to be underestimating her belief / love for him. But yeah at the same time I understand that Sooha feel extremely scared of losing his only lifeline because of it.
Sooha is ruining my expectations worse than a Babyface song! I swear he cooks, he is clean, he is smart, considerate, protective, tall and good looking. I am so done.
I'm in the minority here but I find the show really overrated. And I can't with Suha/Hyesung being romantic. They just have a bro/sis vibe to me and when he acts like a sad or happy puppy he just seems like a kid (which he is, don't care mature he can be) which adds to the icky factor.
YOU AND ME BOTH!!!!!!!!! i thought i was the only one! every character seems so exaggerated. i don't know if i want to see what happens in the end, but i'm definitely not curious enough to devote hours of my life watching it.
oh man. i watched school 2013 and secret garden and never found lee jong suk attractive until now.
i feel like the 2 episodes extension definitely dragged out some parts and it feels like the show is always "behind" the viewers, us already knowing who the daughter is, etc.
Seriously, LJS has grown so much. His acting improved tremendously. SooHa gave him a chance to further show his skills.
Btw, did anyone realise Kim Min Jong existence in ep14? He even talked to Meahri!! I was like "What?!!" What does Gentleman Dignity has to do with this drama? I mean, both the writer and director are different. And yet they brought up those characters. Super intersting!!
I felt like these episodes were slower, but this show usually moves at a breakneck pace so these were just normal kdrama speed anyway. Obviously there wasn't much tension for me as everyone knows Do Yeon is Hwang Dal Joong's daughter, but I liked how Hyesung was torn between protecting her frenemy (who am I kidding, BFF's for Life!) and telling her the truth. There were some great character focused moments in these eps that I really enjoyed.
I hate Suha's Uncle the more I see him tbh, poor kid.
I was nervous about the extension since I've never seen an extension that has fully utilized it's potential and they usually end up dragging a drama down, but I've decided to just embrace it, lol.
I'm still torn with the extension OTL I'm happy because yaaay more IHYV and more Soo-Ha and Yoo-Chang but I don't want to wait two more weeks to know how everything is going to end OTL
I want Hwang Dal-Joong to have his happy ending soon but I don't know if Do-Yeon is going to help/accept the reality now. Judge Seo is such a bastard.
Soo-Ha and Hye-Sung are killing me OMFG. When she told him she likes him and HIS REACTION OMFG. And all the hand holding!! I loved how after the painful flashback with his uncle (uggh I fucking hate him) and the lies, Hye-Sung's still there for him because even if she can't keep her thoughts from him, she still accepts him and his hability. But I'm really nervous about the outcome of Soo-Ha don't telling the truth about his dad to her... at least I'm glad Laywer Oska (<3) didn't go and tell her first.
I do agree that with some moments the age gap seems really big, especially since Jongsuk looks younger for his age and Lee Boyoung looks exactly her age, mid-thirties, but with characters and plots taken into account, it would be impossible to match Sooha with anyone else. Pairing him with Sungbin or anyone else would be a complete dismissal of Sooha's purpose for existence for the past ten years.
edit: Also I think the writer is aware of some viewers uncomfortable with the age difference, hence Kim Min Jong's cameo, whose character also had an happy ending with someone half his age. Kinda showing that the age difference can go both ways.
all of the age gap love lines I've seen in dramas are written with the younger person being the pursuer. I wonder if that is to make the audience more comfortable so they don't feel the younger person is being taken advantage of
Sooha and Hyesung have the best chemistry. I swear we never get this much kissing, hugging and hand holding in a drama. Even when they barely touch but are just comfortably walking to work, ridding the bus, eating dinner together they look so natural together. Damn you Lee JongSuk I ship you with everyone!
These last two episodes were the same high quality we've come to expect. I appreciate the return of Sooha's real personality and the lack of boring court room scenes. Even the time wasting cameos were done fairly quickly and painlessly.
