How badass was Shi-hyun during that fight scene at the Chairman's place? Taking his jacket off so smoothly, kicking some ass, and then just sliding it back on? Hahahah, please, marry me oppa. Hyung-min was really great during that scene too. That set up was just genius.
I don't think Chairman Jo is behind KM's murder either. And the Commissioner is definitely hiding something more (you know besides lying to Shi-hyun). And I honestly don't understand his obsession with Busan
Thanks for sharing the preview. I hadn't seen it yet. Next week looks so good!! Looks like Shi-hyun's /finally/ going to find out Soo-min's connection with Kyung-mi

I just feel like it's either Commissioner Min or HM's dad that are behind her murder. I don't buy it that it was Chairman Jo because back then he had already sent Safari to take care of SH. The only reason he got involved now is because Safari and his son both failed to kill off SH.

I actually marathoned through 11-14 so I haven't dealt with the previews in the last few weeks but now I'm dying here hahah;;;;

I normally end up going on soompi and reading people's recaps and watching episodes cuts from JTBC's channel even though my Korean is nonexistent. It's almost Monday!!!

The scene where Soo Min was brought into the "lair" annoyed me so much, I wanted her to fight off those two guards at the front instead of being dragged into have the piss beat out of her face. Surely she didn't think Shi Hyun would want them dragging her in there like that. Shi Hyun's fight scene later on was wicked awesome, he has the best fight scenes! This and the one toward the beginning of the show where he took those goons on in that hallway are my favorites.
Is anyone else really annoyed by how bad that reporter wants Hyung Min's dick? His girlfriend (just? what's the time-frame, idk) died, and even though the reporter doesn't know, he was going to ask her to marry him and she was pregnant with his kid. That's a freaking lot to go through, plus he's preoccupied with his vengeance. I'm not saying she should leave him alone entirely but damn, does she have to push that hard? I do not feel like it's normal to act that way this soon when his girlfriend died, they didn't break up by choice, and he's still grieving.
I feel like Shi Hyun is losing his mind because he doesn't know who to trust. He still wants to "get the bad guy" but he's having a hard time figuring out who the bad guy is.
Some things are going to come to light in the next 2 episodes, but I'm hoping for one more steamy night/scenes from Shi Hyun & Soo Min. And can someone please let Soo Min take care of herself in a fight? Please.

He enjoyed the time he spent with her and developed some sort of "like," enough to not want to sacrifice her during the lair scene. He wants revenge for his mom but he doesn't even know who to go after!
They need to release some of that sadness and confusion and just have funnn~ ;D

Ah, the lady reporter. I was kinda confused at how they called him when she was depressed(?). I didn't realize they had gotten that close? And who exactly is her father? I keep forgetting, is he a congressman?? Hmm, sometimes I feel like she's hiding something too

But how BAMF are all the female characters?And is Nam Gyuri really tiny or are the guys hyper tall, that the costume department has to stick her in Everest heels?

Date: 2013-07-14 12:55 am (UTC)What I meant was, a series of posts that talk about BAMF characters, for ex: Cha Seung-won's character Son Hyeok from Athena,Kimura from Gaksital, the Mother from Cinderella's Sister, Go Soo's Tae Joo,Min Jae, Seo-Yoon in Golden Empire (so far at least) or even the pissed off mercernary dude from Que Sera Sera. Could be anti-heroes or downright villains, plucky heroines/mothers who can spit back even after a beating, unrelenting anti-heroines and second leads.People who don't give a quarter.The characters don't exactly have to be physically attractive, just hardcore merciless/tough people.

Jinsook has lost her touch in the recent episodes and Soomin is still pretty damsel in distress imo even if she did fight off Director Jo. I feel like Soomin's character is kinda pointless at this point, she's basically serving as the love interest for Parksa and nothing else. I just wish she was written better that's all :/
Parksa/Shihyun is a gqmf and a bamf nuff said.

I think Min wants to be the next Pusan, seeing how Jinsook loves money and wanted to move away from prostitution.Throughout the drama police officers keep on mentioning/hinting how a police officer's salary isn't sufficient.So all of this, because he's still in love, never had to courage to ask her to marry him while she hinted at it.

He seems to want to take down the bad guys but then he goes and does questionable things and you are back to square one. I think he lied to SH because he knew that SH wouldn't easily betray Safari if there wasn't a strong enough reason like his mother. He pretty much manipulated SH using his mother to get him to become a cop. I kind of see parallels between CM and HM in the way that they both manipulated SH and SM, respectively, using a loved one to get them to go undercover.

Date: 2013-07-14 06:56 pm (UTC)I so enjoyed a few beautiful fighting scenes (damn Baksa fighting at the chairman's place...!!!) & I absolutely love where things are going with Baksa esp at end of ep 14, he took a stand and he looked hot lol.
Otherwise, Safari & Soo are still great. Interesting stuffs about Jo chairman.
The rest = useless and annoying characters + their boring and badly written love stories, esp Nam Gyu Ri's who don't know much about life obv. Sorry ,just can't stand this character, I've decided to simply ignore her.
And the reporter.............. No comment.

SHI HYUN OPPA <3 Jung Kyung Ho... Yup, he chose the right role, definitely. I mean, from the very first scene he appears in the drama after having killed someone, his eyes and his expression, his body language.... He needs to do more dark stuffs, he needs to be a movie star ala Ha Jung Woo (funny how he's the lead in Ha Jung Woo's next movie- go!).
